I have to agree with all of the comments..Teca is so over price, the owner is very rude(rob)..must be nice to be a member of the lucky sperm club, dad handled the business to him.....They don't appreciate your business....I know many people

I've been here a couple times and the atmosphere is pretty cool. Alot of college aged kids from the university come here to eat. I, however, find the amount of food lacking for the prices you pay.

I go to Teca all the time and my college-age daughter and her friends go there frequently as well. We have eaten many items on the menu and loved everything. We like the variety and the prices. The specials are particularly good. Now for the downside - their wine servings are the smallest I have EVER seen even given the high price. This little glitch is an irritation to an otherwise lovely meal and seems an unnecessary corner-cutting. They used to serve incredible fried stuffed olives but the offering now seems grocery-store packaged and was a bummer. Otherwise the food is lovely and the atmosphere wonderful.

Very Trendy Hot spot in heart of West Chester. Great Building. The old fire house converted to beautiful restaurant. Art Deco light fixtures & decor. Friendly staff. I went for lunch & it was simply delicious. The soup was unique & good. The panini sandwich was yummy. I'll go back for dinner! I hear a younger crowd has a fun time at night.

It is always a pleasure to stop by Teca for a lovely meal of salads, sandwiches (panini) and various bruschette. The bruschette are generous slices of fine, toasted bread with intriguing topics (I always have to order the robust ?Siciliana?), the salads are fresh, with the best mozzarella you can find locally, and the panini hold interesting and well-cooked ingredients, even though the restaurant should consider switching to a better quality focaccia than the anemic bread presently used. You can sit outside and watch people go by or in the comfortable and well-designed rooms of the restaurant. The service is friendly, efficient, and aims to please. A well-selected wine and beer list means you can always find the proper accompaniment to your food here.
The only thing I strongly dislike at Teca is the fact that they are not printing the prices of the various beers on their beer list. This is a rather sleazy practice all-to-common in these days of restaurant ?advisors? who ?teach? restaurants every psychological ploy to separate the customer from her/his money (never use a yes/no question, etc.). Now I don?t have any problem spending $9 on a DuPont Saison beer on draft (what a treat!) but I do dislike that patrons have to make an effort to find out that the beers they will order will range from four to ten dollars. If you have an informative beer list, like Teca?s, please also print the price of the beers.

Pros: A comfortable place to enjoy a great variety of tasty treats (bruschette, salads, panini; excellent wine-beer list

Cons: Beer list does not indicate any prices (with beers ranging from 4 to over 10 dollars)
