.

A very challenging course, tight with lots of hazards. Numerous trees, water, gullies, rocks, raised man-holes (on 16), Canadian goose bombs and hard dog-legs. If you can master this course you'll play better on a wide open course where you don't have to fight trees, etc.... Good customer service, decent starter, relaxed rangers. A fun place to play and or learn how to play. Other golfers don't rush you and are easy about letting you play through when necessary.

Pros: challenging course, builds confidence

Cons: some poorly maintained holes, bad sand (actually dirt) traps

I tell people I've shot a 76 all the time...I just don't tell them where. This is a tiny little course with LOTS of character. Hitting over huge sinkholes, or off of shelfs that drop off to nothing, it's never really boring here. Overall it's very short, but always puts up a decent fight. You have to dodge the driving range on number 17, especially when the big guys are practicing. One nice touch is the apple tree on number 11 (I think)...if you hit the season right, free snacks! The fees are very modest, as well.
