4 Stars: Perfect for a Girlfriend Getaway (by Gigi P.)

For my 40th birthday, a friend and I drove from DC to Philly to celebrate. I used my husband's Hilton Honors points to stay for two days at the Inn at Penn. The room was roomy and beautiful. The hotel was conveniently located along a city bus line so we were able to hop the bus into town (at $2 each way, it's a steal). We were also able to walk to our choice of restaurants in the evening. We loved the Bubble House. The Inn was clean, the staff (especially the valets) were friendly and helpful. There is a nice library with fireplace where you can sit and chat and even enjoy dessert. I would definitely recommend this property to women looking for a safe, clean place to stay.

4 Stars: An exceptionally cozy Hotel (by Alan H.)

Catering specifically to the parents of Penn students, the Inn at Penn is run by Hilton, although it has character unto its own. Located on Walnut St, in between 36th and 37th, the Hotel offers clean and spacious room, friendly staff, and several nearby dining options, such as Pod and Penne, which are just adjacent to the Hotel.

The Inn at Penn also caters some upscale events for the University, and good food is served by the staff in the formal dining room. That being said, it is only of only two hotel options near the university, and has expensive rooms.
