A college friend of my husband's had his wedding here. Everything was spectacular. The service was great and the food was memorable and you know that's good for wedding food. My only complaint was the place so big it was hard to find the bathrooms. Beautiful room we were in too.

A beautiful lobby, large enough to meet up with friends and family, but not be on top of the check in desk, with very charming but neutral decor. The rooms were very big, and extremely comfortable. An overnight stay includes a free continental breakfast in the morning which I think is a necessity for any hotel. The location is prime, within walking distance from anything you could need or want to do and is directly across from City Hall. A very inexpensive hotel and a great find when staying in Philadelphia for a night or weekend. Parking was expensive to stay overnight, but very convenient and safe. I would definitely recommend this hotel time and time again.

The Marriott Philadelphia Downtown is in a great location. It's within walking distance to City Hall and across the street from The Reading Terminal. It's also connected to the Pennsylvania Convention Center and the Gallery Mall. It can be on the expensive side if you want a room with a great view but you could probably get a good deal on Expedia or Travelocity.
