Its too bad the shop owner of Party Girls cant see that her staff is killing her business. She's got a great inventory of beautiful dresses, but the ladies who work at there need a major lesson in customer service. They were downright unpleasant. NO ONE smiled and I clearly got the sense that we were a bother to them. I asked about ordering a dress if they didn't have the right size in stock. The answer I got was a quick, "We can, but then it's yours!" She said it with such a nasty attitude that it completely turned me off. My daughter is very modest and wanted to keep her very thin camisole on underneath the dresses she tried on. One of the women very nastily said, "We can't see if the dress fits because she refuses to take off the camisole! She NEEDS to take it off!" I think at that point we were all pretty scared of these women and it showed in how quiet we all became. Then while my daughter was in the dressing room, one of the sales ladies said to me, "I don't think she really wants to be here." Who is she to tell me what my daughter wants? She just met her 15 minutes ago! We found a gorgeous ball gown and discussed having it cut down to a shorter dress. When I commented that $600 was a lot to spend on a dress and then pay to cut it shorter, Wendy had the nerve to suggest that I reduce the guest list in order to save money elsewhere.

We ultimately bought a beautiful dress for our affair, but you can be sure we DID NOT buy it from Party Girls! I will NEVER shop there again and if anyone ever mentions in passing about checking the place out, I will most certainly tell them not to bother. We left there feeling as if we had been reprimanded and these ladies didnt even know us!

I had gone to Jans in Cherry Hill. It was SO busy and you can wait up to an hour just to try on dresses. In contrast, Party Girls was quiet and empty. Now I know why. After sharing my story with others in the area, it seems the attitude of the sales ladies is what drives customers away.

Say Yes to the Dress! Service as good as it gets. I learned my lesson the hard way. After spending HOURS walking the malls, driving from shop to shop, dealing with tears of frustration, my daughter and I decided to visit Party Girls.

My teen was looking for the perfect white graduation dress. She saw a dress she liked at PGs, but wanted to think it over. Two days later, we returned only to find out the dress had been sold mere minutes before we got there. However, it was sold to someone going to a local prom, which was not the event my daughter needed it for. The wonderful sales woman offered to phone her contact in NYC to see if somewhere there was the same dress available. A day later she phoned us with good news! The dress was sent to PGs, my teen was fitted, she is excited, I'm happy, and graduation will be extra special. Extra special is also how I would describe the service we got at Party Girls. Offering to help find the dress, the follow-up, etc, you just don't see that around here anymore. I know, I've been searching for a MOB dress and have been treated rudely by the top two recommended 'older' women stores in Bucks County. I wish I wish I wish that Party Girls would carry dresses for the Mother of the Brides/Grooms!!
