Have not purchased a car there. Have had service a few times on my Elantra and Odyssey. Usually the service is good.
Yesterday, dropped my 2003 Odyssey for state inspection and an engine light indicator at 6:30am. Received no call all day. Called them at 6:30pm and was told that the paperwork had not been completed and that no one was available to complete it until morning. Called them this morning at 10am and was told my car hand not been touched. They called back at noon to say that I needed transmission work for the engine light, but that their transmission shop is not open on Saturdays. The engine light also meant that the car did not pass inspection. That 'service' would be $99.
When I got a little salty about the situation, Dave, the service guy, wondered why I was getting so angry about it. I told him why. No more going to Carsense Hatfield for service. Back to the unending search for a good mechanic.

I bought a used Honda from them mid November 2010. A few important things to share with other consumers:

1. The salesperson was super-responsive until the car was delivered. We requested a printed AutoCheck report when we filled out the form to have the car delivered. It took 2 phone calls, 3 emails, and one online form for me to get them.

2. The salesperson had our car delivered to the wrong address. He had the poor delivery guy so confused.

3. Carsense has a policy of not selling any car with dents or scratches... they did not follow this policy. My car has dent and scratches with rust stains that we did not see when it was delivered. (we saw it the next day with daylight). They will only fix it if we drive all the way out to them. This defeats the purpose of having "House to Mouse."

Please shop with caution. Even if they claim to be different, they are still used car salesmen at the end of the day.

We bought our min-van here. The staff was helpful and it was very refreshing not to have to haggle. We felt like we got a good deal and we haven't had many problems with the car (nothing that was out of the ordinary for a used car). We brought it there for service a few times. They have a good drop-off, pick-up service. Prices aren't bad. We stopped going, though, because the servicemen were always pushing services that we didn't need and it was hard to tell since we are not knowledgeable about cars. We wanted more clarity and honesty in our mechanic.

We felt like we got a good deal and we haven't had many problems with the car (nothing that was out of the ordinary for a used car). We brought it there for service a few times. They have a good drop-off, pick-up service. Prices aren't bad. We stopped going, though, because the servicemen were always pushing services that we didn't need and it was hard to tell since we are not knowledgeable about cars. We wanted more clarity and honesty in our mechanic.

We brought a truck at Carsense. All the cars are used but all are in great condition. All have under 40,000 mile and are only a few years old. You do not have to haggle with them.The prices are as marked so if you don't like have to haggle then this is the place for you!

When we were looking for a van we took several test drives at this carsense. They were very accommodating and didn't pressure us at all. We actually bought our van at the Carsense down in Uwchland because for some reason it was a grand cheaper for the exact same thing. We like the fact that it was a no haggling price. We did our homework so we know we were getting a good deal.. So far I've taken all my oil changes and inspections to this carsense. The first time they had me waiting over an hour, which did not make me happy because I had an infant and two year old.. The other times they had us in and out at a reasonable time.
