We tell everyone how good the program is at Bright and Early Daycare / Preschool and that they should have no doubts in sending their children here also because it is a warm and caring environment for the children to grow and learn!

Bright & Early Daycare is great! You will love this place just because of its fun decor. If you are looking for a great child care center, this is definitely the one.

There's nothing good about Bright & Early Preschool and Learning Center..Everything posted by "worried parent" is very true...Nicki is rude, ignorant & inconsiderate to her staff..she degrades them, screams & swears at them and expects them to walk off with a smile and provide the nurture and love to the children after practically being raped of their dignity & self worth. Nicki & Wayne(her husband) are also cheating their staff members by keeping them working longer than an 8-hour work day and doesn't pay them the Overtime @ the Time-and-a-Half pay rate that is Required by Law..she'll pay them their 40hours on the Company's Payroll Check and any additional hours she'll pay them witha Personal Check at the Regular Pay Rate. Now if that's not a Dishonest Cheat than I don't know what to call it. Well, the good thing is we're keeping copies of all the checks and she'll soon have to answer to someone other than the State....Yes, she'll be answering to the Government as well. Oh, I'm sure you all know that the State is on them and are very close to being Shut-Down!!! Why?? Well, the Children Are Not Properly Supervised, of Course!

Way to Go, Nicki!!!!!!

Nicole Preno is not loving & caring as she would say. She talks about all the parents business with her staff members. She treats her staff like crap, and then expects them to go on & have a good day with the children after she put them down. Nothing about her is professical. Instead of her taking a parent or even a staff member in her office, she will yell at u in front of everyone, & then when you try to say something she tells another staff members "Call the cops". She is not worried about your child, it's all about the money. In her eyes her son Cole is an angel, he does no wrong, but he is very rude & fresh. He puts his private parts in people's face & trys to kiss lil boys. I feel bad for Wayne Preno, cause he has to deal with all her drama. He should be the one running the business, while she stays home with her kids! Please think again before you put you child here. It's nice on the outside, but you don;t know what's going on in the inside. If you dont do certain things with your kids at home, you don't want it done to them while your not around. Nicole stay home & take care of your own daughter. Don't you think Drew is too old for a pacifer? He needs to be potty train & keep his clothes on!!!!! Horrible mother, director, & owner!!! Fake RN

After my nanny quit because of personal issues, we were left with 2 weeks to find child care. After calling pretty much every place in the area, we were left with 2 centers that had openings for 9 month olds. We checked both centers out, and were immediatly impressed with the staff from the moment we entered the facility. I'm a teacher, and I know when someone is putting on an act, and let me tell you, NONE of the staff was doing anything that made me think "you phonies, this is all a show."

Nikki answered all of our questions, gave us a complete tour of the center, and told us to call with any questions. After placing several more phone calls and not liking what we heard or saw at other daycares, we figured, ok, let's try it and if we don't like it we can always keep searching. That search ended after my son's first week there. The entire staff made his (and our) transition to a daycare facility as smooth and pain free as could be. I'll admit to being "that parent" that called to check that first week, and I know my husband did too. I don't care if they laughed at us behind our backs (which I never got the feeling they were), they were always happy to take our calls, and let us know how our son was doing.

My child has been there for 2 years now, and we are keeping him there until he starts kindergarten. Nikki has always been understanding of the craziness of a teacher's schedule, and has had no problems with the fact that neither my husband or I have a job that makes it impossible to drop everything right then to pick up a sick child. As for sickness, my son caught his fair share of colds during his first year, but every parent I've talked to who had a kid in daycare said the same thing, kids get sick when around other kids. If anything, it was nice to know Nikki was a nurse, as this is my first child and sometimes the new parent worries would creep in. She was always willing to answer questions about his symptoms and give us advice.

We have had several issues with my son with suspected hearing / speech problems. Nikki and her staff were more than willing to help with observations and kept detailed records of interactions to give his doctors to help diagnose him. Not once did I get the impression that we were putting them out in any way, and their care and concern through the process made it so much easier to deal with.

I reccomend this daycare to all my friends, and should we have another child, they will going to Bright and Early.

Cons: my kid never wants to come home

What about ratios? or capacities? or educated staff? more then1 or 2.. what about the young girls who dont give a crap.. what about the way you talk to the staff and children and parents.. like cursing and screaming all the time in front of people. what about respect? what about treating your staff with dignity? i pulled my child out after i realized you and your staff are unqualified to care for children. you may have been a great nurse, but a teacher that does not make you. your facility may "look nice" and "be clean" but overall safety is not a thought or concern of yours because if it were, you would have people who actually were conscious enough to deal with young children. Also, i have seen crazy crazy staff come and go from your place. you fire them, tell everyone why you fired them, and then rehire them.. when you realized they were unqualified to begin with. your rooms are always packed. I left about 8 months ago.. so i hope something has changed but from what I saw.. your center was awful.

This is also Bright & Early Learning Center. If you search under that school name you will see why. Coincidently the same reviews will appear except for the negative ones. It seems like someone is trying to be slick. This is to make sure that anybody that really wants to know about this daycare knows the truth. It is a terrible place for children.

For anyone that may read the previous negative reviews of Bright and Early Centers LLC, I would like to be able to shed some light on these unfavorable reviews. I Nicole Preno, a licensed Registered Nurse, left my position at Frankford, Torresdale Hospital Emergency Room, to create a loving and educational facility for children and parents. I am extremely passionate about the facilities, children, and parents. I was a successful and fulfilled Nurse, however, decided to create a facility, because of the concern for my own two children that attended daycare because of my career. I am physically at my facilities for no less than 14 hours per day to devote myself to all that are within the facilities. Sometimes denying the devotion to my own family. This is Okay, it teaches my children the importance to give of yourself to others. I am a facility that follows our facilities policies and procedures to maintain a quality facility for all staff, children, and parents. Any parent that is seeking a quality daycare should be extremely happy to read that the previous clients that wrote the negative reviews were more than likely terminated from the facility for not following the policies and procedures set forth to maintain a happy and healthy environment. As one can read in the previous negative entries, literacy was not an important aspect for those clients. Are these the type of clients that a daycare that maintains high standards wants enrolled within their facilities. And thank you very much for the positive review. Please call us and let us know how he is doing. The infant room teachers miss him very much. For any parent that is seeking out a facility for their child, you must inspect many of them to find the best fit for your child. Take a check-list with you with many questions. Find a facility that will interview you and your child as stated in the Department of Public Welfare blue book. The facility should make an appointment with you, provide you with resource information and want to get to know you and your child. Childcare is not a business, it is a devotion and a calling to take care of the hollistical aspect of human beings. This is a note from the owner of Bright and Early Learning Centers LLC. Thank you very Much.

I sent my son here at 7 weeks(and I am NOT on subsidy!!) and they were great with him, he was born with cleft lip and palate and they were the only daycare that wasn't weird about his feeding issues. I got a report everyday letting me know when he was fed, changed, when he napped, and even what "milestones" they may have noticed. They switch the older kids to different activity rooms throughout the day. AND the owners have their own children there so why would they put them in an unsafe environment?? ALSO the state thinks they are so good they were put in a program that gives them extra funding. These other 2 reviews are so wrong!!

STAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE - mommaonamission - Today
Do your your self a favor. STAY AWAY!!!! I had my child in this daycare/preschool. My child was sick all they time. Owners are husbandand wife (Wayne and Nikki Pereno) who only care about getting children who are on subsity assistance. Staff is uneducated, lazy and not supervised. I was paying good money there. My child got severe infected diaper rash from unclean conditions. I am a clean freak so I know this wasn't my doing. Owners use language that is not appropriate for childrens ears. Not professional at all. I was often greated at the door by a yelling staff member. Childs belongings always were lost, missing or they claimed I never brought that item in. This short this place should be shut down.

I had my children in this daycare for over a year. It is absolutely frightening the people who are in charge of kids. The owner is an RN however she has No experience or education with children. The staff there are lazy and uneducated they yell at the children constantly. If you love your kids stay away from this facility.
