I just had my car serviced here and the shop is no longer an AAMCO. The new manager is very friendly and told me what my car needed and did not need. I didn't feel like he was trying to sell me repairs that were unnecessary. I would use them again. Give them a try, maybe the prior reviewer was dealing with the prior manger.??

I would like to review the AAMCO trans shop in Lancaster Pa. My brother has his car there now, today is thursday, it was taken there last monday and was told it would be finished on friday last week, my bro had alreadfy paid for the job, which I thought was a bit steep, compared to a tranny from a junk yard(Trannies rarely go bad anyway, they usually last the lifetime of the car) but my bro thought they were a reputable business and chose to give them the job. My brother works his business, and depends on his transportation everyday. The manager of the aamco kept assuring him that it would be done, after my bro got a hold of him to ask. The manager has the worst communication skills I have ever seen. He never returns calls, will not call to let you know the status of your car, even when it is a week over due from when he assured it to be ready. I dont know if this is standard operating proceedures for aamco, but I know that my bro is a lot more tolerant than I am. Being a retired 3 time combat vet. I approach people like that a certain way. If you lie to me, I will hunt you down like the piece of crap you are, and force you to communicate, weather you like it or not, I will be in charge of your life. I will make this statement to you and to the whole world right now. If my brother's car is not finished by friday, I will be coming down to visit him from upstate New York, and a 6 hour drive just gets me cranky. Crap rolls down hill if you know what I mean. I will transform his weekend into a living hell, and will teach him that if he wishes to be a sub-standard human,he can do that on his own dime, not a customer's. I would just like to say to the manager of the Lancaster Pa. aamco that you are a true piece of crap, and you will be dealt with,be carefull who you toy with or it could come back to bite you in the ass.How you keep your job ios beyond me. Is the franchise standards so low that they have crap like you running their stores?? Do they have to scrape the bottom of the barrel?? Do they even know how screwed up you are??? Do they ever check on the stores?? These are questions I would like answers to. I would close by saying "see ya soon" but that would mean you are the most unlucky bastard in the world.

Business Response:

A New Day! Apparently Jeffrey K was upset. I would like to set the new record straight, we are NOT AAMCO Transmissions. We are occupying the people that was once an AAMCO. The manager of the old AAMCO is long gone, and we found some of his dealings to be suspect. To the old AAMCO customers out there, come give us a try, we think you will like our service. To the new potential customers, come on in, give us a try and see if we can meet, if not exceed your expectations. Looking forward to doing business with you soon!!
