This make your own pottery location is unique in Erie. You can pick out greenware to paint with the many types of glazes at the store. You pay for the piece and then a fee per hour for the studio time (that includes glazes, brushes, books, supplies, etc.). They sometimes offer specials such as date night - studio time buy one get one, or other nights that are discounted. They also offer glass painting. You paint your piece, they finish it, and you pick it up later.

.

A paint your own pottery and glass art studio that holds open paint times and also classes. You go in and choose a piece of greenware (unpainted and unglazed) pottery and sit at one of the tables. There are idea books to look through for ideas and when ready, you choose your colors, sponges, brushes and get to work. You pay for studio time and for the piece you choose. When you are finished, you leave the piece there and it is fired and later you can pick it up. On some nights they run specials. A neat alternative to other activities.
