My wife and I dined at the Stockyard Inn for a special occasion and we couldn't have made a better choice! The atmosphere is casually elegant from the decor to the desserts. My wife had the sea bass while I chose the delmonico (you have to have beef when eating at a place called the stockyard!). In a nutshell, the food and service were nothing less than spectacular. Even though we were stuffed from the entrees, we still made room to split a piece of their homemade cheesecake...AMAZING! If you're in Lancaster, you have to make a point of eating at this crowned jewel.

Went there for the first time after hearing mixed reviews. Worst high-end bone-in ribeye I've ever had. The flan desert was a slab cut out of a meatloaf pan and the calamari should have been bait.

This place has great steaks and red meat. Good service but is kinda pricey for what you're getting. Though the meat is good I still could get the same burger at a brewpub for just as cheap.
