I've been coming to Xquisite for the last 3 years... finding Victoria Lee was heaven sent. She is the BEST hair stylist I've ever had do my hair. I have flown to Philly this weekend from charleston SC just so I can have her work her magic on my hair. I always get compliments and get stopped wherever I am to talk about how great my hair looks. I've already RSVP her for my wedding, now all I need to do is find me Mr Right

I am writing in response to the incredible hurtful stories that DRS has posted on this site. Your stylist has left a very nice salon. Why would you try and smear her former co-workers the way that you did? I was in the salon today and all of the workers seemed extremely glad that your stylist is finally gone. I will be honest, I don't know how your stylist lasted as long as she did.

I came to citysearch to leave a comment about my stylist Anika R and seen a very disturbing comment about the salon. Let me start off by saying I love my stylist. She makes me look good all the time. I've been coming to Xquisite for 5 yrs and I've seen people come and go,some good some bad. This lady DRS must of had one of the bad stylist that needed to go. Don't let this bitter woman bring down a salon that is very professional, clean and takes care of all your needs. They're open 7 days a week and have the best hours. Go and try this salon out for yourself. You'll love it

Hello city search I'm a cliient of Xquisite. I have been going to this salon for 8 yrs. I've been to several different stylist and is always satisfied. I never have to wait long hours to be started. The reseptionist is great. The shampoo people are so nice . I have made Xquisite my home for the duration.

I've been coming in for several months now and I must give kudos to Ms. Angie for her scissor-cut expertise. Every month I change the shape of my 1" style and still she knows what I want before I can even get the words out - truly an expert in her field and an absolute riot as well. So happy to have found her as she's more than worth the trek from Center City. Thank you, Angie, for all of the services that you offer. See you in a month, Mama!

I started going to Xquisite Hair Design about four weeks ago. I have had my hair done twice by Angie. After searching for a new salon and stylist I am glad that I gave this place a try. My stylist Angie is courteous, professional, and she has been there on time for both of my appointments. I have ask her for a certain style each time and she has happily complied. If you are looking for a professional, give Angie a try.

I just got my hair done by Nikki and she hooked me up! I was a little nervous about cutting my hair shorter, and she made me feel like she knew what she was doing and that I could trust her. She gave exactly what I wanted and it looks amazing. I could not be happier with my hair! I would recommend Xquisite to anyone!

My hair is always on point for the most part when I leave and I can go to several different stylists. The downsides are I hardly ever feel like I am getting a good wash. And the wait time is way too long! They make a habit of overbooking and it is not fair to the customers.

I was there the same Sunday that Lacey808 got her hair done and can attest to her ridiculous wait. Got there mid-morning around 10:00, had a good talk with her by the dryer and was out before she was. I was not going to write a review because I thought she summed up the "long wait factor" pretty welI, but I think its pretty petty and suspicious that suddenly two positive reviews come up for Nakia right after the fact.

Chalk it and admit when you are wrong, because of the ridiculous wait time I am currently looking for a new salon. I am not going to wait around and be the next Lacey808

I have been going to Nakia for about 2 years now and I can say I have never had a bad experience. She is always on time. My hair is the healthiest it has ever been. She makes you feel as if you are her only client when you can clearly see for yourself that she is fully booked. I have never written a review before on any website but I felt I had to because of the negative comment about someone who has always been the consummate professional. WHEN YOU HAVE A VALID APPOINTMENT, you are always out in a timely manner. Nakia works very hard at her job and it shows.

I've Been going to Nakia for the past 2years.She is the most wonderful Hairstylist Ihad have been too.
The first time i walk in xquisite it was very clean and neat and that is very important to me.The young lady at the front talk very well,She ask me what can we do for you today.I told her i needed a makeover and she told me i have the right person for you .(NAkia) nakia let me know everything is going to be ok. when she was finish i knew she was the one for me. I walk up to the front and told the nice young lady, can you please make me another appt. for next week. I never had a problem with contact Nakia at work or by cell when i needed to come in, she always work around my work hours day or night.
I had a special event ,my daughter was getting married and i told Nakia i needed to get my hair done on thursday ,Nakia said when is the wedding i said on friday at 9am nakia ask why do you want to get your hair done on thursday when you can get it done on friday morning around 6am i was bless.because i said to myself this would be great so i can go home get dress and didn't have to worry about if my hair what be ok for the next day. i came in on friday was out around 7:30am went home got dress and still had time to help my nervous daughter to get really for her new life and husband.Ijust wanting to say Thank You Nakia for the wouderful serivce you give me and also becoming a dear friend in my life as my Hairstyles.

I have had too many bad experiences with weaves. An employee at Hairtown in the Cedarbrook Plaza recommended Tesa a stylist at Xquisite in the same shopping center for a great weave service. Tesa not only did a great job on my weave but she also educated me on how to take care of it. I have received many compliments and will certainly be back.

Coming from CT to Philadelphia in 2003, I had no idea where to go in Philadelphia to get my hair done and that frightened me . Luckily a friend of mine told me about Xquisite's and I have been going since!! My hairstylist Nakia Rolling is the Best and I absolutely love her she is so talented, flexible and knows her clients 100% I walk in and she automatically know what I want and need and I have no idea what I would do without her!! I love this salon and the ambiance is so relaxing , you walk out and feel completely pampered as if you were in a spa!

I live in New Jersey and was tired of the lousy unprofessional salons over here. I read some real positive reviews and gave Exquisite a try. The salon owner, Sheena did my hair. She was very pleasant and professional. Sheena gave me a relaxer and a color that I just love. I also can't believe how good my feels. Thank you Sheena. you did a wonderful job. See again soon!

I have been coming to Xquisite for a year and love it. Anika and Lee do my hair. Its nice knowing that two different stylists can do my hair the way I want. I like coming in on Wednesdays to advantage of the Student Discount. If you are tired of dirty unprofessional salons give Xquisite a try.

I spent a great deal of time reading reviews on many salons because I have had so many bad experiences trying to find a good salon. This salon had so many very positive reviews that I had to give a try.. I called the salon and asked to make an appointment with the owner. I was told that the owner no longer does hair b ut that I could make an appointment with the salon manager Sheena. I made an appointment with Sheena for Saturday. She did an excellent job and was extremely professional. I was really nervous and Sheena took time give me a very thorough consultation which made feel very confortable. I made another appointment for a highlighting next week. Thank you Sheena.

Nicole has been doing my hair now for 9 months. I luv that fact that she starts at 6 am on Saturdays. I have my hair done and i am home by 8:00 am every Saturday. Nicole does a very nice styling job on my hair and my hair is in better condition then it has ever been.

I have been going to Xquisite for almost one year, my stylist is Shonya. Shonya does a great job, she is efficient and a very good hairdresser. However the salon needs to train their assistants/shampoo girls better. Everytime I get my hair washed I end up being soaked by someone who has the water up way too high or washing my hair too fast. I'm not even certain that my hair is as clean as it should be after a wash and condition. The shop should also be aware of the type of music that is being played,everyone is not a fan of hip hop or even certain types of R&B. Lastly, the front desk needs better organization.

Shonya is an excellent styist! She is creative and coloring skills are great. However, the front desk needs a lot of work. Poor service when calling to make an appointment and cashing out!

I read the good reviews and decided to give them a try. I have been to dozens of salons in Philly and Wilmington, De. I must say this was the best salon experience that I have had yet. When I arrived to the salon I told the desk person that I found the salon at citysearch and she said "That's great! and we hope that you will post a positive reveiw as well.." She also told me that our goal at Xquisite was to give every client 100% satisfaction. If we fall short of that at all please tell me and I will do everything possible to make you happy.
Shana did my hair. She gave me a relaxer and color. She did an extremely good job and did it with more speed then I ever dreamed. My hair not only looked great but it felt so good. The Aveda products that they use really work and they smell so good too. I looked around the salon and it appeared like all of the stylist were really doing nice work. Very nice salon! Thank youShana, I will return.

I am from New Jersey and was in desperate need of a salon that was open on Sunday's. I searched the web and came across Xquisite Hair Design. I was extremely impressed with the feedback that was left for them, so I decided to give them a try. I called to see if I could come in and to my surprise they take walk-ins on a Sunday. The two young ladies that answered the phone were very courteous and pleasant. I arrived at 11:30am and was immediately introduced to Myrna and taken to get shampooed. Myrna has a wonderful personality and spirit. She is very skilled at what she does and pays attention to what you want done. During my servicing I was extremely comfortable. The atmosphere is pleasant and clean. I was so impressed with the finished look, that I have decided that Myrna will be my new hair stylist. Even if only once, you have to stop by "Xquisite Hair Design" and experience Myrna or one of their many other talented stylists. For all of the ladies out there looking for excellent service 7 days a week, check them out......... SIMPLY FABULOUS***************************

I had my hair done by Lee about a year and a half ago, she not only did a good job on my rod set, but she also gave me a reason to keep coming back to her. She introduced me to straw sets which she assured me would look nice. I went back to Lee for a second time for the straw set which turned out to be a very nice hair style. Lee was not only a good stylist, she was also a good business woman. Instead of just doing my hair and pushing me out the door, she offered me a pleasant experience and a reason to keep her as my stylist. Since then, Lee has done my rod sets, straw sets and roller sets which she's always ready and willing to do. She always makes sure that the shampoo girls do exactly what she asks them to do, if they don't, she'll step in and do it herself. Lee's professionalism and kindness is also recognized by other stylist's clients as well. When getting my hair done, She is repeatedly approached by other stylist's clients and complimented on her compassionate demeanor and nice styling skills, they frequently say that they would love for her to do their hair but they don't want to cause conflict between the stylists and Lee's professionalism keeps her from stealing other's clients. My hair is now healthier and longer than ever and I'm always getting compliments. I recommend Lee to anybody that wants a stylist that has a good attitude, is easy to talk to and cares about the health of your hair. Lee is the best!!!

Hey, I thought there was a recession until I arrived for my first appointment at Xquisite this past Saturday and this salon was packed. When I saw how many clients were in this salon on Saturday morning, I almost turned around went back home. Thankfully I stayed and had a weave done by Lawrence who was referred to me by my cousin. Lawrence is extremely professional. I told Lawrence that I was a self conscious about getting a weave in a salon because I have alopecia and I feel like everyone is starring at me. Lawrence said no problem and he took me into a private room and applied the weave. He then brought me out to his regular station to cut and style my hair. Wow, he did a great job! I have received many compliments. Lawrence also explained other options to deal with my hair problems like Lace Wigs. I reccomend Lawrence to any women out there who are suffering from similar hair problems to make an appointment with Lawrence. He really seems to understand the pain and embarassmenet that comes with hairloss and makes you feel comfortable. and that is so important.

I've been coming to the salon for about 4 years. I came in as a walk in desperately looking for a stylist in my area. I needed someone who did well with short hair. I was referred to Shonya Payne and I have been with her ever since. She takes what she does seriously, I always look fabulous when I leave and love the flexibility. The shop is open 7 days a week!!! The atmosphere is very friendly and family oriented. Shonya even does my daughter's hair now too. I trust her completely and she is the best (no disrespect to the other stylists, but I love my stylist. Dawn, the receptionist is the best, Sheena is great and Bob operates a fantastic salon. I am a business owner as well and the shop is very professional. I also don't like having to sit around all day which my stylist does not play. In and out and looking fabulous and the prices are very affordable.

I have been coming to the salon for two years and my stylist is Nakia. Nakia is very pleasant, easy to talk with and sharp with the scissors and hair design! Also, she is honest about what works best for my hair striving for healthy hair. She never sends me out of her chair unless she is completely satisfied with the results because my hair style and condition represent her skills and talent. I have even entrusted Nakia to take care of my daughter's hair! The staff is friendly and makes you feel right at home. I enjoy coming to the salon because I know I will get professional hair care and end up laughing too. I also want to note that Dawn is very professional and organized when taking care of the clients, appointments, etc. This is definitely the salon to check out and to make your salon for innovative hair design , healthy hair and professional service.

Sheena has now done 3 weaves on my hair. She is the best! My hair always looks so natural NO LUMPS AND BUMPS like I have got at other salons. Most of the people at my job have no idea that I get weaves. If you want a great weave go see Sheena.

I have been going to this saloln for over 7 years. I started going to this salon when they had about 6 stylists, it now appears like there are 66 stylists. wow this place has grown! I love the salon and my stylist Lawrence. I really hope that they do not raise their prices many people like me are struggling with the economy and gas prices. Please vote for Obama!

I read all these favorable reviews and thought I would give them a try. I own a business so I don't have time to spend hours in a salon. I made an appointment with Sheena at 10 am on Saturday. I wasn't sure where the salon was so i gave myself some extra time and I actually arrived to the salon at 9:30 am. Sheena who is the manager actually starts at 10:00 am but she also arrived to the salon early and she started me right away. I had a very nice haircut ( a little shorter than anticipated but very nice) and blowdry. Sheena completed the service and had me out of the salon by 10:30 am. Thank you, Sheena I'll be back!
It was raining very hard but I parked right in front of the salon.

Very professional salon. I worked for the owner "Bob" when he worked for Glemby International. He ran very professional salons in Macy's Department stores then and it appears like he now operates a very professional salon of his own. I read the staff profiles at the Xquisite Hair Design website and I was especially impressed with how long many of his staff members have worked for him, that is not the norm in the beauty business..

Angie has cut and colored my hair for over a year. I luv her. Angie has a real fashion sense and a super positive attitude. It;s funny the stylist that did my hair at another salon was always complaining about not being paid enough money, well dah, if u aren't making any money it's probably cause u can't do hair. I can tell Angie makes a lot of money!! Note to stylists, if u aren't making any money don't cry to you customers just change your occupation.

I work in the same shopping center as this salon and I noticed how incredibly busy they always are. So last Saturday, I went into the salon for the first time as walk-in. I was actually amazed at how large of a salon it is. It is much larger then it appears to be from the parking lot. My stylist was Yolanda, she gave me a very thorough consultation and had me look through some hair books before my service. This was great because I was very nervous and needed some time to bond with her. She gave me a very nice haircut and blowdry and I would recommend her to others. She used all Aveda Products on my hair and I was impressed with them so much that I purchased the Aveda Hair Spray and Control Paste.

Cons: Vert busy Saturdays, next time I am making an appointment on a Thursday!

I am always skeptical about salons but I read the impressive reviews about this salon so I gave it a try and I must say that I agree. This is a well run and very professional operation. The best kept secret in Philadelphia! I manage a large retail store and I was very impressed with how the manager Sheena, can do hair and operate a business of this size and complexity.

Very professional salon. I was visiting Philidelphia from Virginia, i read some very nice reviews so i gave them a try. My stylist was Charise and she gave me a very nice highlighting, haircut , and styling. I received a great many compliments. They use Aveda products which I have loved for years. The salon has several big screen TV's and play a nice selection of music videos. I was their was a salon like this in Virginia.

I never seen a salon like this. First of all I must of seen 20 or more stylists working and they were all remarkably good. Tiffany did my hair for the third time. Each time my hair looks better because she has managed to improve the condition of my hair so much. My hair was a disaster when i originally was referred to Tiff and she has done an amazing job of making me proud of my hair again. Tiff is tough to get an appointment with so call in advance!

I found this salon on citysearch and was curious enough to give it a try. I had been going to another salon that will remain nameless. My stylist at this nameless salon was a very good technician but she did not respect my time. Sometimes I sat in the salon for 4 hours to get a blowdry and that is crazy.
Charise at Xquisite did an excellent job on my hair and had me out the door in 50 minutes. The salon seems to be a very professional operation and they take American Express my card of choice (my former salon did not. accept Amex.)

It is a nice salon, a nice environment, nice customer service. However, I got my hair cut and hate it. I was butchered and did not ask for what I got. But once it is cut what can you do. Can't wait for it to grow back in. I've had my cut several times before and this is the first time that I am not happy.

OMG, I get sooo many compliments on my haircut, male and female, old and young..I pass out at least 2 of my stylist business cards a day (Angela). In addition to the cut, the salon is affordable and the stylist are professional. What I Love the most is that I can get in and out!!! thanks Ang

I went to a salon that will remain nameless and paid over $100.00 for a relaxer that broke most of my hair off. I read the great reviews about this salon and made an appointment on the Saturday before Mother's Day. This salon is busy!!! I asked the receptionist how many people would be getting their hair done today and she told me that they had 160 confirmed apointments.
Back to Sheana. Sheana told me that their was nothing that she could do about my broken hair except even it out. She did say that if she got a a sewn in weave I could get any style I want. I let her do the weave, the first of my life. Wow, she did a great job. The weave is so natural no one at church on Sunday could believe it. Thanks Sheana!!! I was blessed to find you.

When I choose a stylist and a salon, my primary concern is whether they are committed to helping you maintain healthy hair. If you're like me, then don't go to this salon. The salon is extremely busy, so the assistants are only concerned about getting you out of the shampoo bowl and moving on to the next person. They do not condition your hair properly - you're lucky if they work the conditioner through your entire head of hair. Also, the stylists seem to have the same attitude, and they basically want to get you in and out. Most of them do not take the time to cut your hair properly. Lastly, I must add that the salon has a lot of potential but it unfortunately falls short due to lack of professionalism.

I brought my daughter to Xquisite to get her hair done. Nicole did a fantastic job and did not burn my daughter which is great. My daughter really enjoyed Nicole, they were chatting it up (my daughter is 10). Nicole got us out of there very quickly. Thank you Nicole.

I just used my tax refund to buy a lace wig from sheena. wow! I just love it. It is absolutely undetectable and is so light i don't even know that it is on my head. thank you sheena for all your help. PS I am getting a second wig when i gert my rebate check tthis summer.
