I shopped Hallmark Jamison PA the day after Thanksgiving. I go for the 25% off store sale (Vera Bradley too). I shop at this store through the year too because of I have 3 girls that love Vera. I have multiple stories about their poor customer service and rude behavior. I am certain that the reason that they still get the business is because of their Vera selection and they do in fact have a lovely store with lots of selections. I go because of convenience and the Vera coupons or else i would find another place. The manager is the one that doesn't have a clue how to treat a customer and it is obvious that the women that work there are in fear of her some (not all) pass along the :rudeness". I spent over $400 there that day. One of my purchases was a necklace and I aked for a box. The manager told me they don't give out boxes on a sale day, she in fact said they didn't "have any boxes". Come on, really - a Hallmark store, selling jewelry and no boxes! I pressed and reminded her that I wasspendng alot of money and i couldn't imagine she didn't have a box that she could find. She didn't budge! NO box for me.
The only upside, is the sale is worth it and the 2 other women (who by the way were whispering about their schedules because the manager must be such a tyrant) were nice and helpful. One women even carried my bags to my car. I am certain is was because she was so embarrassed that i couldn't even get a box for my necklace!

Norman's just lost another customer on New Year's Day. I wanted to return some items and the store manager, Linda, I believe was extremely rude to me. She basically mocked me for wanting to return holiday items. There was nothing on my receipt stating that holiday items could not be returned and when I purchased the items on 12/27/09 no one in the store informed me that it was a final sale. I told her that I would not be returning to the store and she was just fine with that. What a poor way to do business - I would think that retailers would do whatever they could to keep a customer happy - particularly in this economy!

Norman's just lost a very good customer today. They would not honor my $10.00 off coupon for Vera Bradley on the new lunch box. The coupon was not expired and they had plenty of patterns and stock, which they showed me. The had them hidden in the back and had to bring them out. They said something about they already sold their allotment and would not honor my coupon. There was nothing about an allotment mentioned on the coupon. The 2 women were very rude in whispering about how one forgot her on card at home and needed to purchase her things today (of course whispering in front of me and then both running off into the back of the store when they realized I was not an idiot.I was a frequent customer there and spent hundreds of $$$ there a year. What a poor way to do business.I took my coupon and went to another store in the area who informed me they never heard of an allotment and would gladly honor my coupon.

This is a Big and well planned card and Gift Shop..Filled with many collections,,pictures,many styles sizes and colors of candles--throughout the store..The cards are like none other,and the many gift items,among different selections are not like you see in all the other Hallmark stores..Always come out with "many specials"--just must Haves---Try them-great experience..
