We were at the car show today & ate lunch at Zachs , we ordered 3 Italian hoagies, the rolls were stale & dry, one only had a few slices of ham no other meat ! We were very disappointed !!!!

I love Zachs!! They make all the dough and sauce fresh daily. Pizzas are delicious, as are many of their pasta dinners and sandwhiches. Whenever I get delivery,it comes nice n hot in about 45 min, which is the norm for delivery. Mostly I like to eat in though because the service is excellent! This is especially true on the weekends. It can get pretty busy, but the waitress is a sweetheart and always moves fast to try to accompdate everyone. Just a great place to eat with the family and convenient next to giant and Walmart.

I love pizzerias and have visited many. I have gone to Zach's Pizza three times, and the additional chances were only because of the convenient location. Trust me, the location is all the pizzeria has going for it. This pizzeria has extremely low standards for their food and service. It is beyond obvious that the employees have not been trained & the owner does not take the business seriously. Prices are absolutely ridiculous, such as the last time I was charged $21 for a pizza! The food is cheaply made, as hoagies have only a couple pieces of meat on them. The worst of all was finding a hair in my food & being told by the waitress I still had to pay for the dish! The kitchen does not look sanitary (no sanitation signs, gloves, hairnets) and dust flies off the ceiling and onto the customers when fans are turned on. Disgusting. It is clear that the owner does not care about customer satisfaction, or s/he would improve the food & service. Any other pizzeria is better than Zach's. STAY FAR AWAY.

Pros: Location

Cons: Everything else

Take home message: If it wasn't for terrible, terrible service and that one bout of fp, I'd have to say that Zach's pizza is decent, considering the area and the surrounding alternatives. If you can manage to get fresh toppings (versus the non-fresh ones they will offer you), get it while its still hot, have cash (to avoid inept teens will do anything to avoid taking your credit card number--even tell you that the delivery person will take it), and not have it drop-kick your GI system, its not bad.

My stats:

Total times patronized: 13.

Total times teenager taking my order didn't know the menu well enough to take my order: 13.

Total times teenager taking my order wanted to know "if i wanted fresh toppings or canned toppings:" 13.

Total times delivery took over an hour, even though i'm less than a mile away: 11.

Total times pizza was cold upon delivery: 7.

Total times teenager taking my order told me it was okay to give deliver person a check: 1.

Total times delivery person told me checks are not okay: 1.

Total times teenager taking my order didn't know how to run a credit/debit card on the phone: 4.

Total times I spent all night blowing chunks because of fp from Zach's pizza: 1.

Total times buffalo wings smelled hauntingly like motor oil: 2 (out of 5).

I was there in 2007 October and ordered a salad and calzone. The salad was wilted and the calzone was mostly bread. The dining area was cozy and clean, the menu is the pretty basic and daily specials are offered. If you are used to home cooked, fresh Italian food, I wouldn't recommend. If you're stopping in for a slice of pie, their location great (in the Walmart plaza at intersection of Rt. 63 & Rt. 113)

Zachs pizza has some good menu items but was extremely disappointed with the hoagies. Ordered an Italian Hoagie and there must have been about 4 slices of deli meat in it for about five dollars. I could have gotten a better (standard Italian) hoagie for less money at Wawa or the local supermarket.

Hands down, Zach's has the best pizza in the area! The sauce is delicious and fresh tasting, the crust is always crispy, and there's always tons of cheese! If you go in or take out the wait staff are so sweet and friendly. Their non-pizza food is fantastic too - chicken parm sandwich is my favorite. Ingredients always seem really fresh and they don't skimp on anything. Take out is usally pretty quick, too. It's my favorite place to eat in the area!

PROS: delicious food, nice people, quick service
CONS: delivery takes a while, and pizza doesn't always stay hot
