I go to the Goodwill in Monroeville every couple of weeks and sometimes I find a great deal. It's clean, well lit, and has two dressing rooms and loads of parking. I've found some good jackets there. The housewares section isn't that great.

Pros: Clean, convenient

Cons: Selection stays the same over time

I can't say this is my favorite thrift store but it isn't too bad. You may be able to find something you are looking for and get a good deal. They have some new dollar store items in the front so that is kinda nice. I just think they lump their items together too much. They will have all children's shirts for 2.95 well for a few that's a good deal but for the majority of them it is just too much. It is a place to stop and look around in but I wouldn't go out of my way to go there.

Well, I can't argue with the prices.
I mean, everyone knows that if you want a good deal, go to goodwill. It's also sort of fun to play "find the defect."
My other half and I just spent less than $15 on about four shirts, which is unlike any deal anywhere.
You just have to do a little hunting, and it's totally worth it.
The wonky "old clothes" smell you have on your hands is normal.
I also was looking to find a nice second-hand air-conditioner, but my hopes fell when I walked in the door and felt like I had walked into some sort of desert sauna.
It's summer. If you own a business, please don't try to sweat out your customers, especially if they're going to be trying on already-mildly-funky clothes.

PROS: Cheap deals that run the gamut of anything anyone would buy
CONS: Hot, funky, and has workers who clearly don't want to be at work. Who does?
