Body Restoration

Being a male with naturally thick eyebrows, getting an eyebrow wax is not a pleasent experience! However, my experience at Body Restoration was as good as it gets. My eyebrows came out looking great, without being overdone. I have walked away from previous spa's with brows that were extremely irritated and even bruised, but Body Restoration is by far the best experience I've had!

okay, but not exactly the best massages. Can someone tell me of the best place to go with all the holistic therapies under one roof? Im looking for a chiropractor and massage center in one...not some rub..waxing stuff...ahahah anything near rittenhouse square that i can bring my whole bridal shower girls?????????????/desperate for real care!!!!

I recently had my first brazilian wax with Jenne at Body Restoration. I have to say this is a humbling service but Jenne was able to immediately make me feel comfortable and as much at ease as possible. She was extremely efficient and quick and the blue hard wax that she used was pretty amazing too. I am so happy with the results and will definately be going back!!

I made an appointment with Cara for a brazilian wax and deep tissue massage after reading reviews here and info on the Best of Philly site. I have gotten waxed at many salon in Bucks County and in Philly....and most do NOT know what a real brazilian wax even is...or how to make it less painful. Cara is fantastic. The waxing was almost entirely pain-free. I will never go anywhere else again. She made me feel very comfortable despite the awkwardness of this type of treatment.

The deep tissue massage was so relaxing. Cara really knows her stuff and managed to get every kink and knot out of my back. 60 minutes usually flies by, but this time it felt like an eternity of bliss. I felt like a million bucks when I left. Thank you!!!!!

I decided to get my first brazilian wax here after hearing about Cara. Cara, the spa's owner, is always very quick, professional and makes it as painless as possible. I continue to go back every month for my wax and am very happy with the results! In fact, I won't go anywhere else. The spa is a little hard to find, but trust me: it's worth it!! The spa is a nice, non-pretentious retreat from the city.

I was pretty nervous getting a bikini wax since I have a low threshold for pain, but Kara was very efficient and gentle. I'll be back again and highly recommend her and the spa.

I've been to many places for Brazillians and waxing otherwise...this - BY FAR - was the easiest wax I've ever had! Hardly any pain, hardly any swelling, no torturous waxing strips - nothing but this wonderful blue-green wax that is the answer to my waxing issues!! Pam was great - calming, quick and precise. I am really happy with the results and will not go anywhere else. I highly recommend Body Restoration (and Pam!) the next time you get a wax!

Brazilian waxes are never paradise, but they sure do come close at BR. Cara, the owner, was very sweet, gentle, and swift in her procedure for my wax. She used a blue-green hard wax that was kinder to the more sensitive areas and greatly reduced redness and irritation. Afterwards, a few drops of soothing oil aided in the little redness that was there. Additionally, the pricing was beyond reasonable for the quality, atmosphere, and results of my visit. There's no product pushing here, but for those who would like to avoid the inevitable discomfort of waxing almost entirely, I recommend the No-Scream Cream that is readily available.

This must be the best place for Brazilian waxing. The usually torturous procedure became nearly pleasant thanks to the great skill of the aesthetician and the wonderful polymer wax she used.
The strange part was that I felt... ignored... The staff wasn't rude, but they didn't seem to care if I was there or if I was comfortable... The aesthetician didn't introduce herself so I didn't know who she was until the moment I found myself in the room with her. And afterwards she was discussing something with the front desk person, and I was left just standing there for minutes.
Also there was some kind of renovations going on in the building. Not their fault, it just added to the uncomfortable feeling.
But I am going back in the next few days for my next brazilian. I am ready to sacrifice my comfort for a painless waxing experience!

Body Restoration is the place to go for Bikini and Brazilian waxing. They use the best wax and have the best staff. I have recommended Body Restoration to many friends - all of whom have been delighted at the results. Cara, Pam, Jeane all all great. You can't go wrong. Thourgh, painless, and professional. The only place I'll go for a wax.

I recently went to Body Restoration for a Brazilian Waxing and I have to admit that it was a fantastic experience! I have been to other establishments for waxing in the past but was referred to Body Restoration by a co-worker. My Esthetician Pam was FANTASTIC! She was quick, precise and made me feel so comfortable. She and I talked easily through out the entire service and before I knew it, my Brazilian was complete! She made this not so fun experience not so bad! Thank you Pam and thank you Body Restoration. I will be back!!!!

I love it! This place is great. Everyone is nice, they don't try to stuff products down your throat. And it was the best message. I was a loyal toppers fan until I had one here. This place makes Toppers seem like a moderate spa.

I had a deep tissue therapy session with Hillary and it was top notch. I could immediately tell that she was an expert! The massage was extremely therapeutic yet wonderfully relaxing at the same time. She started with a scalp massage and immediately I was in bliss. The price was very reasonable for the service provided. I have only been here once but will visit again, and again. This is now one of my top 3 favorite Center City Spas. Parking might be a problem for those not in the neighborhood, but fortunately I live only a few blocks away from this Center City gem. I found it easy to get a next day appointment as well.

What a hidden jem right in Center City! Such a wonderful, spectactular, refreshing change from those awful, dull "spa mills" where you receive no personal attention and are herded around like sheep. Body Restoration is a gem! Small, intimate, quiet, and that is even before I got the massage. Kate, my therapist, was great great great. And the cost was more than reasonable. Highly recommended.

I just went to get my very first full brazilian wax today and the service was excellent. Very at ease with the esthetician since she was clearly had many years of experience. They use a special green polymer wax and very little pain considering. . .. .

The Brazilian wax is a humbling experience but the esthetician seemed confident and made me feel at ease. I was afraid it would hurt like the other areas I've had waxed. Fortunately, she used a green hard wax that seemed to make all the difference in the world. My skin didn't pull with the wax as it would before. Surprisingly, it didn't hurt much at all in that area as I thought it would.

I like this place because they don't claim to be and do everything. It seems like Day Spas are a dime a dozen in center city and I'm never really happy with how I'm treated. I didn't feel that way at Body Restorations. They stick to what they know and they're experts at what they do. They made me feel comfortable and relaxed.

What made this massage feel like an absolute upgrade from the busy body mills of area spas, was Cara's ability to pinpoint exactly where my aches and pains were. I could feel immediate relief from the tension I carried. The session was complete, never making me feel rushed and the price was affordable.

Top notch massages and body treatments in a private, professional setting. You will not be disappointed. Definitely check out the Stone Therapy massages and facials. Now using Dermalogica, too. The packages are a great value. THE BEST!!!
