Check In - RUDE
Waited over an hour before finally having enough!
They overbook and then are rude when you have the audacity to ask if you will be seen anytime soon. No matter when I go - early AM - Mid Afternoon - End of the day ...the wait has always been the same AT LEAST (and it could be longer) one hour.

They are nice enough people, and it is a clean office. I agree with the poster who said they're hard to get a hold of, at least if you're using their normal menu on the phone. Also, the waiting room wait and the wait in the exam room(s) are LONG. Too long when you have some serious concerns/are in a potential emergency situation. I swear I sat in the waiting room 30-45 mins (pretty typical of dr's offices) but then waited in the exam rooms at ultrasound room at least 30 mins/each.

I went in there with extreme lower left abdominal pain, and spotting. Didn't think I was pregnant because I had had a recent period. Pg test revealed I was, indeed pg. Internal ultrasound only showed me at early-on...7-10 days, but that was only checking my uterus. Doc who did the scan didn't check anywhere else. They did the bloodwork. Then they never called me back with the results, and a few days later I was still having problems...badly.

Tried to call their regular lines, DURING business hours, and kept having to leave messages and no one called back. Went through a whole weekend more with the problems before finally choosing "emergency" on the phone options, on a Monday. That finally got me in there again. Learned then that my bloodowork had shown me at 3-5 weeks. Not 7-10 days. SOMETHING was wrong. Someone should have called me about that.

Second doc to do a scan actually looked at my tubes because of the pain I was having. Found that the baby was in my left tube.

It was a devastating experience in itself, but I had more extensive surgery due to a bad tube rupture. Can't help but wonder how much could have been different if the first doctor had actually checked out the area where I was having pains.

I will say the doctor who did the surgery was very kind and understanding of how much of a loss this was to us. He did a good job, and gave me good follow-up care.

But with most of the rest of the set up there, I felt like a number and I wasn't pleased with the somewhat neglectful care I received at the office. It could have cost me my life, that the first doctor never checked my tubes (even though that's where the pain was) and that they never called me with the discrepancy between the scan and the bloodwork. That early, it's a big enough difference to be a big deal. Lost the baby at almost 6 weeks (according to the hospital ultrasound). So the bloodwork was right.

Good doctors, and a nice place, but good luck getting someone or something when you need it. Bankers hours only. If you need a last minute or emergency script or refill, you had better have a backup plan, because you won't be getting what you need until monday when they open again.

I have delivered 4 children with CWHS and have always felt so comfortable with the doctors & staff. I had the great opportunity of seeing each of the doctors for each of my deliveries and I can tell you that their best quality is bedside manner! They care for you like you are one of their family and explain things to you so that you can understand them. Might I also say that if you have complications they provide Lehigh Valley specialists for you on site so that you do not have to make a long trip. They provide the best care possible. I switched OBGYN's from another in Pottsville and I couldn't have made a better choice. I would recommend you do not have a preference to doctors when making appointments. There are long waiting lists for certain dr.s and you should really let them all get to know you. If there is an emergency, anyone could be on call.

I have had 3 children delivered by this group and everyone including the staff is wonderful, caring and knowledgable. Clean waiting room, although on the crowded side most of the time and parking is tough also. Nice decor in the office and office staff takes care of the insurance aspect of your bill for you. Appointment times are tough to get due to the high volume of patients, but they are worth it!! Very recommended.
