Mc Donough William Dvm - Tunkhannock Veterinary Clinic

I have been a client at TVC on and off for 20 years along with many of my friends and family.The off time was when I worked at
another clinic. But no matter where I worked I always remembered who taught me me what I know. Dr McDonough took me in
when all I had was book experience and 20 years later I thank him for all he taught me and the patience he had we me. As far as
a veternarian I worked with acouple of them and he is the most caring and one of the best surgeons Ive ever worked with. And Rex his wife is also a great person to work for and with, she knows her stuff too, and is dedicated to all animals who need any
medical attention. And of course Brenda, who has been there for 20 some years, she knows how to keep the place moving, and
is great with the people, Doc is lucky to have her. I think Tunkhannock is lucky to of had such a wonderful man and veternarian
with a wife who supports him for so many years.

Dr Mc Donough and his staff are professional, caring, and competent. He knows his stuff and, quite frankly, I trust him to give my cats and dogs the best care. His support staff is also very good. Tunkhannock is lucky to have a vet clinic like his.

It's too bad that the only vet available in Tunkhannock is not passionate about his career choice... and it shows. I've spent thousands over the years taking my animals to his facility because they are a very important part of my life. Recently, my cat had minor surgery and a few days later (on a Saturday) an abscess formed. Because it was on the weekend, Dr. McDonough was unable to be reached. I called around and ended up driving almost an hour away to make sure my pet received proper medical attention. The Northeast Veterinary Referral Hospital staff members were amazing. It made me realize how much they care for animals compared to my previous veterinarian. Today, my pet is healthy and doing very well. I refuse to go back to Dr. McDonough's office in the future and have spoken with several other pet owners who feel the same.

TVC, Dr. McDonough, Rex, Dinah, Brenda ... have pulled us through many a sticky wicket, AND they have vetted many Col. Potter Cairn Rescue (www.cairnrescue.com) rescued dogs as well. ALL of whom have gone to their wonderful forever homes in great health. Thank you all for the wonderful care you give to our family. Amy and Brian - Calliope in Mehoopany.

Great vets office, staff are truly animal lovers. Great services as well. Very compassionate office. Prices are kind of high but you do get what you pay for.

This is conveniently located, the staff is very experienced, and the wait time for an appointment is not long. The fees are fair, and very comparable to other veterinary offices in the area, and the care that the staff shows the pets and owners is exceptional. I appreciate how they show such care for the animals, and take the owners into consideration as well. Each time we take our family cat, my son is so concerned (even at routine check-ups) and the staff really seem to genuinely care about his feelings as well, and explain what is happening and why.
