Here's my experience with bcr. They love to tell you how great they are at fixing guitars and how i fixed a guitar for so and so........ I brought in a old acoustic with dead spots I was told could be fixed for around $90. When asked if it was worth fixing or should put it towards a new guitar I was told it would sound great. $90 later it still had a bunch of dead spots. When I called about this issue I was told it was a junk guitar. Great thanks for ripping me off for $90 bucks.Awesome. Ended up taking it to another shop and they fixed it for $30 and plays/sounds great. In the future I will go to guitar center I imagine they stand behind there product and work since they are a nation wide company.

Bought an acoustic guitar from them, with the condition that it would be setup, nothing had been done to it since being made. Once the owner/ repair guy came back from wherever, I brought it back in for service, now mind you I just dropped close to 800.00 on this thing.
I have been playing for 20 + years and know a great deal about all kinds of instruments, and after a bit of him telling me I need to play it in, and to bring it back, I just gave up knowing I could get quality service from someone like Campbells. Now he did do some minor work to it, but I could tell he didn't want to be bothered with it.
I think maybe I caught him at a bad time, hard to tell, but I personally would be reluctant to expect anything other than less than stellar customer service.

Excellent Sales Personnel... Nice Products... Good People.. Took way to long to get warranty work done on my guitar, however. I called every two weeks.. First call, I was told they would get back to me.. Waited a couple days and called again.. Sales rep who sold me the guitar was very up front and said they had not shipped out the guitar for service yet. Called two weeks later was told they would check and get back to me.. Needless to say.. They did not get back to me, so I started eMailing... The only time they ever got back to me was when my Guitar was back... Took approximately 6 weeks. Then I had to pay for shipping.. Again very friendly people but as a customer, I expected a little better treatment... and I didn't expect to pay for the shipping... 6 Weeks was way to long to wait for my guitar repair work. I may go back for my next purchase, however it is highly doubtful... Peace... rdc
