I stumbled across this page before attempting to contact somebody at this dealership and really should have taken the advice of the previous reviewer before wasting my time. The only thing more unprofessional than their website is their customer service. Not all of their vehicles are listed online and many of the ones on their lot lack any sort of useable information. Don't bother trying to call or e-mail, as you won't get a response, and if you do get somebody on the phone there's a good chance they'll have no idea what you're talking about. Never received a call back from the guy who supposedly would be able to help me, nor did a friend of mine who called twice at a later date. I can only assume selling cars is not their top priority.

(A tip for whomever is in charge of the website- Town & Country is Chrysler, not Ford.)

I have been to Pantuso's on two separate occassions. I was there last July, looking around to get an idea of their inventory, and the prices on their vehicles. After quite a while of walking around their lot, looking at vehicles...no one came out to see if we needed anything...so we went inside...and were greeted by a friendly older man at a desk...who had his son come out to show us around. It was apparantly on their lunch hour, because the son rushed us through , and acted as if we were pinching into his personal time....so we left.

Today, Feb. 19, 2010... a good 8 months or so later...We saw their website, and called to inquire about some vehicles on the site...the guy on the phone had NO idea what we were talking about, and didnt offer up any help from , Oh I dont know, someone who DID know???

So we decided, fine...we'll just walk down and see the vehicles in person....so here it is, 8 months later and... Same thing... we walked around the lot aimlessly , taking note of vehicles we'd be interested in... and once again NO one came out to help us...so we decided to take a look at some other car lots in the area...and to come back later. We came back about an hour later, and STILL no one came out to help us out. We decided to go inside to see if someone could answer questions about some vehicles we had eyed up. I was already discouraged, because of our last experience at this place 8 months ago, but I swallowed my nervousness and went in anyway. Once we get in the waiting area...there are about 4 or 5 people in a back office, talking and laughing, and I thought...ok good everyones in a good mood...maybe this experience will be better then the last. A woman peeks her head out of the office and says "can I help you?" And we asked her about a van across the street at their other lot... SHe goe's back into the office asks some men, and they say "no , its not for sale" and they go back in the office...and there we stand in the waiting room again... until finally I said, Im done..and I left, vowing never to return again.

I would like to think that if you are a professional business, and you have CARS to sell..you would maybe want to come out and SELL some cars? IF you DONT want to come out to sell cars to people, put the DAMN prices on the vehicles, and we wont have to come in and bother you on your breaks, or happy hours...we can just scope it out ourselves...and not bother you , or work you too hard until we have to sign papers to purchase a vehicle. I had 5,000.00 cash on me today... and was looking for a vehicle, a reliable running vehicle. I had read another review on Pantuso, where they raved about how great they were, so I gave them a second chance. That was my mistake. I've never seen such unprofessional, rude, business relations. It seemed to me each time I went to this car lot, that I was an inconvenience... or a bother to them...and I shouldnt feel that way. If I've got money, and they've got product, SOMEONE should have tried to sell me a damn car!

Beware...you'll have to do cartwheels and headstands to get any attention from these damn people! I will be looking for a car elsewhere personally!

I cannot speak highly enough about Pantuso Motors. My family has purchased four used automobiles from them so far and they were money well spent. It's a family run business, located right in the middle of Scranton, that caters to people of every income level. They carry sedans and trucks, from the most practical to trendy. If you don't see what you're looking for on their lot, or at their many shows at local shopping malls, they are more than willing to find something for you. The price has been right on every vehicle we've gotten and thank goodness they are one of the few places left that offer dealer financing. I would recommend them to anyone.
