.

I am a resident and am thoroughly impressed by Bear Run Village staff and facilities. Considering I was relocating for work to the area from three states away the staff worked with me very diligently to accommodate my schedule. Still very thankful for that. Okay, to my review.

COMMUNITY
- Friendly community constantly out and about jogging or walking dogs, etc.
- Seems like many retirees and professionals in their mid to late 20's

AMENITIES
- Clean pool
- Well kept gym
- Spot to wash your car
- Trash dumpsters far away from all units to avoid scavengers in community

UNITS (I am currently living in a former pet owner's unit)
- Well insulated units allow you not to hear your neighbor
- Units seem to get a thorough overall before a new resident arrives
- Reliable utilities
- Good paint job

STAFF
- Very friendly staff (Beverly was is a huge asset whenever an issue arose for me and my roommate)
- Maintenance came down one morning very quickly to jump my car when it wouldn't start
- Overall, they seem to really value their community and it shows

OVERALL
- For the price I am paying this place is well worth the just over $1,000 a month me and my roommate split. I give this place a 5 stars in my opinion.

THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE. They find every possible reason and way to charge you for things. And don't EVER count on getting your security deposits back ever. They will find the dumbest reasons to hold on to it. They are unfair, and NOT worth

We lived here between houses for about 3 months. In that time, my 4-year-old and 18-month-old were twice nearly mauled by neighborhood dogs - once literally right at my doorstep and once as we got out of the car parked just outside our apartment, even though we lived in a pet-free building. Both times we were not even looking at the dogs - they ran right up to us and started barking at the kids because their owners did not bother with leashes. The dog owners didn't seem to care and kept insisting that their dogs were trained not to bite, as if it was my children's fault for being terrorized. My kids started having nightmares so we moved out even before our lease was up and new house was ready. There is supposedly a policy for leashes to be used at all times but it is not enforced and all management said was that they would send out a "memo" - no fine, no scary legal warning, no action that might have any actual consequences. My kids were lucky both times that they were not seriously hurt - just minor scrapes and a lot of nightmares - but yours might not be so lucky. This is an apartment complex where large pets and obnoxious, unapologetic, irresponsible pet owners are given preference over families with human children.
