Hong Kong Bakery shop is located on Race near the chu-chu train pho place. They sell a nice variety of baked/sweet pastries, my favorites being the cha siu ba (roast pork bun) and this egg-style bun... hard to describe but you'll know when you see it. Anyway, the baked goods themselves are all 60 cents each, but I actually like Hong Kong Bakery more than KC pastries. It's worth a try if you're in the area!
PROS: cheap price
CONS: none!

Bubble shakes rock!

Fruity bubble (tapioca) shakes are what keep me coming to this bakery. They are delicious and taste great! I don't like how this small shop gets crowded at certain times, though. (Lines can be long, especially when everyone is ordering blended drinks!) The prices here are very reasonable; most baked goods are around 60 cents, and the bubble shakes are $2.50, which is a real bargain around here. The Hong Kong Bakery specializes in Chinese baked items, but they also make European style cakes. However, it is still the variety of drinks that make them special. Try them out! You'll enjoy the experience.
