My twin brother and I have been riding and racing bikes for 20 years. In that time we've tried more than a dozen road and triathlon frames from big and small names that, unfortunately, fell short for one reason or another. (The amount of foolishly-conceived, overly-engineered and style-before-substance products in the cycling world is staggering.) It was not until doing fit work w/ Elite owner/guru Dave Greenfield that we realized that custom bicycles, designed w/ classic and proven materials and to our mutual exacting specifications, would be the ultimate expression of what we were searching for. In short, our quest for the perfect ride ended at Elite. We each purchased a Razor Carbon triathlon bike and a Joule Pro road bike. Now that we've had a chance to put some miles on both we can say, without any reservations, that our expectations have been exceeded many times over. The ride quality of both bikes is nothing short of superlative, inspiring, and...well, more fun on two wheels than we've ever had. These Elite bikes float up the road and are eager to pounce when you hit the gas. The aerodynamics of the Razor Carbon make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. This bike is glued to the road so that you don't have to think too much about where's it's going, which is convenient when speed is the objective. It seems to be happiest when you're in the tunnel vision state of utterly pouncing on the pedals. Both bikes seem to move telepathically through turns, like a part of your own body you don't have to think about moving. The design, craftsmanship, paint jobs, fitting, and build are world class in every respect. They are uncomplicated and yet elegant in a way that maybe only a true aficianado of beautiful machines can appreciate. In a world of bubble-gum bikes our Elites are gourmet cuisine. Our only wish is that we had come to Elite earlier in our cycling careers. But better late than never.

I was more than pleased with my experience with Elite Bicycles, and the easily exceeded my expectations of a bike shop, which technically there not as I leaned very quickly. That said they were more than happy to help me out with what was to them a quick fix and had me all done in what felt like a few minutes. While I was in there I learned more than I could comprehend as they explained what was going on with my bike as they fixed it so I could potentially solve it in the future if it were to happen again. Since my first visit I have been back a few times for this and that and each time I like it there even more. They even remember my name and always treat me as if I was a star athlete. The trip across town is well worth the care and professionalism there shop provides.

Elite Bicycles is the best place to go if you are looking for a new bike. The bikes the produce are superb, they have a couple of stock frames but majority are custom set-ups. I have been riding for my whole life and I have never been on a better bike. The customer service is also great. Once an owner of Elite, they give a life time of help, the mechanics are great, and the president himself fits you personally. WOW! that was such a learning experience. All I can say is go check them out yourself.

Elite bicyles is a cyclists dreamstore. They have a great selection of high quality bicycles. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of bikes they sell. THe staff is very knowledgeable and are all cyclists so they can offer very good advice. They also do repairs on site and carry all the parts you need to fix up your bikes.

Elite is a hardcore cycling store. They cater mostly to triathlon competitors and serious bikers. They have triathlon bikes and time trial bikes as well as road bikes. They also have all the high quality gear you will need to be a competitive cyclist. They have a nice variety of parts as well as accessories like saddle covers, tri shorts, tank tops, triathlon skin, gloves, jerseys, socks, and hats. Everything is really well made and pretty expensive.

Message from Elite Bicycles

Elite Bicycles president and founder David Greenfield was born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica and relocated to Philadelphia in the early 1980s, where he has resided ever since. David began competing as a triathlete at an early age, and rose to the professional ranks in 1997. He traveled around the world competing in both ITU and WTC sanctioned events and world championships. Starting in the late nineties, frustrated with the quality, construction, and geometry of contemporary mass-produced ??peg?? bikes, David decided to build his own bicycle. He traveled around the world studying the art of bicycle fit and frame construction from the leaders of the industry, taking time to soak up all of the information and training he could get his hands on. David has since moved beyond the standard resources of fitting education and has focused on a more organic approach, including but not limited to, functional movement, applied kinesiology, physical therapy, and the

study of pressure points. In addition to building and painting full custom bicycles, Elite Bicycles also offers a full range of immediately available semi-custom

options featuring the same design and engineering elements. Elite Bicycles made its first Olympic appearance in Sydney with the debut of triathlon at the

2000 Games, with Gold medalist Sheila Taormina at the helm. Today, Elite is the bike of choice for many professional and amateur athletes alike. Athletes riding Elite bicycles can be easily found on podiums at ITU and Duathlon World Championships, and both long and short distance racing. Elite actively educates

and seeks feedback from its clients and are truly honored to be able to share in each individual??s personal accomplishments.
