.

Endless Mountains Health Center encompass a hospital, out-patient clinic, laboratory services, emergency room, a board array of general and specialist office services, x-ray / CT / ultrasound technology, out-patient as well as in-patient therapy/rehab services.

This hospital services a wide rural population base, and has a full complement of physicians to choose from. Specialists hold regular appointments and come into the EMHS (Endless Mountain Health System) to treat / evaluate their patient's needs. The lab's and x-ray suites are located within the main hospital/clinic buildings. Out-patient rehab services is located in a separate building close-by the hospital.

Parking is limited, but there is an overflow parking area across the street. On specialist appointment days parking is more than limited.

Because EMHS physicians do serve such a large area waiting times may become quite long. However, I can always call and get an appointment that same day if not the next when I need to be seen or have one of my family seen.

The emergency room has moved in the past year from being mixed in among regular clinic rooms, to a separate area in the main hospital building. You can still access the ER via the clinic entrance, or use the main hospital entrance following the signs.

Referrals out to other physicians in PA and NY are common if the Doctors cannot handle the case or need more specific evaluation.

EMHS takes most insurance plans and will work with you if payment arrangements need to be made.

EMHS does have a small town feel, and you will more than likely run into someone you know or have seen around town in the waiting room. Many of the doctors have had practices in larger cities and have settled here for the lifestyle and small-town comforts. The care and concern is excellent here. My entire family has used EMHS for in-patient, out-patient, physician services, ER visits, lab work, etc.

PROS: Small town feel with experienced phsycians and staff; Easy to schedule with
CONS: Limited Parking; sometimes long waits with appointments
