This place is was delight! I had the curry shrimp...which was the best that I've ever had. I love that you can BYOB.

Pros: Well Priced Caribbean Food on South St.
Cons: Table service is kinda iffy

Ratings_icons Great Outdoor Space

Great for a group outing in the warm weather. BYO your rum and get fresh juice to go along with the yummy spicey food and live music. The curry goat roti is my favorite.

Ratings_icons Got me through College!

Jason S.

I've been eating at this restaurant for a while before moving to California. During my residence in Philly, I never went a day without eating Jamaican food, thats where I was born. When I found out about this restaurant I liked it and ate their almost everyday while attending Peirce College up the road from their. You can say that it got me through college. Great food and staff.

Ratings_icons Excellent Jamaican Cuisine

Adua T. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 2,018

The food here is excellent...a cut above rest. I have eaten here very often (in the days where my money wasn't acting as strangely as it is now!) This is authentic delicious Jamaican Cuisine. In the summer, they open the back where they have musical groups and you can eat your food in the open air. It is truly delicious and set up very nice...the outside at night is great for dates...but bring your pocket book! It's a bit pricey and the fish is always "Market Price"

PROS: Excelent food
CONS: Too expensive
