Just had dinner at the Persian Grill and it was fantastic. The food was excellent and the staff was very friendly and gracious. Persian Grill has just been added to our dining rotation, I can't wait to go back!

It is one of my favourite restaurents. I liked the Joojeh Kabob the most. Pirces are a bit expensive but overall service is very good.

We have been going to the Persian Grill for at least a dozen years. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, and the food is fantastic. Having tried almost everything on the menu (and we like it all!) , my wife, kids and I alll love the Kebab Koubideh and Kebab Soltani dishs. You can't miss here!

Pros: Great Kebab dishes

.

It all started out with the pita provided before dinner which was stale and had absolutely no taste. The lamb shank entree contained 4 pieces which were all fatty. The chicken and lamb kebob entree was overcooked, dry, and had no taste. It couldn't be chewed or cut with a knife. I've had better meals in the KOP mall food court than what was served here. Not to mention the meals were overpriced. One entree was $20 and the other $22. You won't find me back at this place. Too bad....

Pros: Not really anything except the people were nice.

Cons: Quality of Dinners

Had dinner there last night; service was great. Appetizers were wonderful......pita was warm and soft; hummus as delicious as ever. However, I was shocked that I paid $20 for a dish filled with basmati rice and 3 lonely chunks of lamb. For $20 I could cook 2lbs of lamb @ home and a sack of basmati rice. I know times are tough now w/ the recession, but people deserve what they are paying for and it's a rip off to pay $20 for 3 small chunks of lamb and a big portion of basmati rice. My money is precious to me too....got to please the customer...that's what it's all about. Get real!!!! Will go back, but will never order that entree again. Very disappointed.

The Persian Grill is one of my favorite restaurants! First of all, this is a family run business and the service is wonderful. You are greeted with warm smiles from the moment you walk in the door.
The food is incredible... Kabobs being the main dishes, with Grilled Lamb, Beef, or Chicken, served over delicious Basmati Rice and grilled vegetables. They also serve vegetarian dishes and traditional Persian recipes. Do not forget to try some of the pickles or hummus as a starter. Prices are a little bit above average, but well worth it.

Food is good. Prices are outrageous. I have been going to the Persian Grill since 1992, and unfortunately I must say that I will not be returning as often. I paid $57 for a take out order. You have got to be kidding me. Never have I paid that much there. Just two months ago I paid $47 for my takeout order. Get a reality check. You are not the Four Seasons.

Pros: Good food, not worth extravagent prices

Cons: Prices just have gotten ridiculous.

Persian Grill looks rather unassuming, set in an old diner. At a glance it certainly doesn't look like something unusual or worth traveling for. But it is. It's pretty far for us, so my family and I only get there occasionally. But boy is it worth the trip. The flavors are vibrant and fresh, the meats tender and succulent. The breads are so fresh they melt in your mouth. Twice we've been lucky enough to get the tah-dig (the crust from the bottom of the rice pot), and it was a taste of heaven. There is only a little tah-dig to go around, so they will present it to customers occasionally as a special treat - it's not a menu item.

The atmosphere is surprisingly nice considering it's an old diner. Although there's not much to be done with the physical layout of the space, they've done well with rich woods, textiles, music and pieces of art to transport you to a little piece of hte middle east.

Service has always been attentive, polite and kind. Although most folks working there have thick accents, they are patient in making themselves understood and understanding you. The attitude of the owners and employees is part of what makes Persian Grill such a relaxing place to eat.

FOOD
This restaurant makes food like they do in Iran. The kabobs are excellent, the rice is made right with just a little saffron (although sometimes a little too salty) and the yogurt is on the tangy side....as it should be. If you are allergic to saffron, make sure to ask them the ingredients of EVERYTHING you order. Occasionally they will have fessonjoon (a ground walnut, pomegranate and meat stew). This always runs out, so dont fuss with the menu if they have it! The gormeh sabzi (leafy vegetable and meat stew) is fresh tasting and made with real Persian lemon.

ATMOSPHERE
You go there for the food.

PRICES
Entrees $11-$19
Appetizers are $2- $7.

SERVICE
Most of the servers are Persian and are always happy to help you with the menu. Your water glass wont sit empty long.

Anticipate a short wait on weekends.
