My four stars are for the price. For $79 bucks a night, it was unbeatable. If you're looking for a place to stay for a quick visit, this is it. Very clean, impeccable, actually. The rooms were sufficiently large, with flat screen TVs, cable, and a table. The front desk was helpful with directions. Continental breakfast. Parking in the front.
The location is along US Route 1 so you're in easy reach of everywhere you need to go.

Came in from Los Angeles last weekend - needed an affordable place. All was good. I was wary due to the reviews, but the place worked for me - bed, TV, bathroom, air conditioning - even had a bar open (though it was quiet). Price was good, too.
I'll stay again next time i'm in Philly.

I had some business to do in northeast Philadelphia and decided to stay at the Roosevelt Inn. I found it to be a wonderful find - the staff was friendly, my room and bathroom were very clean, with new furniture, a nice, comfortable king sized bed and a large television (with HBO!). With a very reasonable price, I was able to stay well within my daily budget. I will most definitely stay there again when I am in Phily on business!
PROS: clean room, new furniture, large, comfortable bed

I did not particularly like this hotel. The staff were okay. The location was average. The room was kind of clean, but dingy. I think that it could definitely use some renovation. Even though the hotel claims to be family-oriented, it is not. Parking was easy. I didnt like that there was only breakfast on Saturdays and Sundays.

We were told this hotel was a good hotel but could only stand there it there one night. this hotel is not a place for Families!!! so please do not take your young ones. Neighborhood is pretty quiet but there is nothing nearby, you would need a car. The people who stay there are a little questionable, from what i saw most of them were not tourists.
