Straightening my teeth as I have said in my other very positive reviews for Dr. Bonney and her Braceland orthodontics practice can not be praised enough. Thank you for helping me to bring back the beautiful smile I once had.

Very happy with my teeth now. Love smiling with my white teeth! Dr. Bonney was very understanding of my every need concerning how I wanted my bottom teeth to look especially since I had an overbite. I am more than happy to reccomend Dr. Bonney to anybody looking for whitening and or invisalign.

I have found Dr. Bonney and her staff to be very professional, pleasant, accommodating, and affordable. When I needed to be seen because a bracket came off, it was no problem to get an appointment. Two times I had to change appointments, I was able to reschedule them for the same week at a different location. I was very happy with my speed braces (which were supposed to be on for a year), which I was able to have off in just 10 months. I had permanent retainers placed on my teeth and am able to floss with floss threaders, just as I did with the braces on. Dr. Bonney even took the time to shape some of my chipped teeth - something I did not expect her to do, but for which I am very grateful. I walked out of the office the day the braces came off and the retainers were placed and couldn't believe that those were my newly straightened teeth.I don't understand the comments about the doctor not being available, because when I was a patient (2008-2009), if she was away, she had a very nice and knowledgeable replacement orthodontist taking over for her.I would go to her again and recommend her to others.

The doctor was very short and intimidating in her manner with me, and just not friendly, actually scolding and condescending once when I broke a bracket from sporting activities. She was clearly annoyed that I did something to make her do more work to put the bracket on again. And when she would assist the staff with my dental work, she would hurry up and do things in such a quick, rough, painful way, as compared to the staff who took their time and cared about keeping the pain minimal. I did find the staff friendly and really great. I became very friendly with 2 of them in particular and they shared my same sentiment about the doctor being cold, impersonal, and all about rushing people through and collecting more $.

Because she runs several offices, it was hard to schedule appts, as they may only be in your area once a week.

She got even busier with more patients than she could realistically handle toward the end of my treatment, and rushed me out of braces to accommodate her schedule. I was told I'd be in them at least 2 yrs, but was in them 14 mos. And when she took them off, she asked if my teeth were close enough to my liking, that she could make them perfect with retainers, and she offered to do a gum procedure at no extra cost for me to reduce my gums and make my teeth appear larger. Well, after I was fitted with the retainer that was supposed to correct and perfectly straighten my teeth on the bottom, it did not fit once it was made. And I should point out that once my braces were on, never once did they do anything to the wire on the bottom, only the top would they tighten or change. Instead of redoing the retainer for the bottom, she instructed her staff to put a perm. retainer on the bottom which was just a white hard string that they glue to the inside of your teeth. That only made them keep their current position, but did nothing to correct them. And I couldn't floss anymore because the glue was in the back of my teeth.

The retainer actually pulled out within a year, and my gums were really puffy and red from not being able to floss. My dentist ended up removing the glue for me. And my bottom teeth remain crooked.

Also, I asked her about doing the gum procedure which she initially offered to do, and also filing a tooth and filling my one front tooth which was her idea and she offered to do. She told me I didn't need the gum procedure, and put off filing the one tooth and filling the one front one. After all this I was to go back in 6 mos for a checkup of my retainer, well the office canceled my appt, and I was unable to get it rescheduled (three times I had to call and leave messages and no one called me back), and they weren't accommodating at all. And they never took 'after' pics for my file, like they took the 'before' pics.

I should also point out that I paid in full at the beginning of my treatment, so when she took me out of braces, she knew I was already paid in full, and I wonder since she already had my $, if she wasn't too concerned.

Today, my teeth actually need braces majorly, but I've already been through the pain of braces, and now don't have the $ for it again as a stay-at-home mom, and I'm quite dissatisfied. It's something that upsets me every single day. My bottom teeth are crooked and a couple are pushed back. And the space in my top teeth came back, I think from not enough time in braces. No sooner was the space closed, then she took off my braces, and fit me with a top retainer that actually was supposed to push my front teeth out some, but pushed them out too much and caused the space.

I can't say enough about my disappointment with this doctor, and I remain uncomfortable with my teeth and embarrassed to smile on a daily basis.

She initially told us that we only needed Level I treatment for our daughter ($1,600) and now that we have paid for and committed to this service, we have since been told that she now needs Level 2 services ($3,000) since she has grown. I would have assumed that they know that children grow and that this was considered as part of the treatment regime. As a result, we fely like we were placed in a difficult situation and had no choice but to continue with Level 2 services.

The wait time for appointments is also unreasonable and the office waiting room is not pleasant (stains on the carpet and crammed full of people).

Dental work was good, price is comparable. Waiting time was terrible and scheduling was at her availability, not your convienence. She is a master of the Bait and switch!!! First time there, we were in and out for the consultation. Once we paid and signed the agreement, the 1-2 hour waits in the office with a tv with no cable began. Went thru this for 2 years with my kid. Never again, we dreaded the dentist more than my kid. We had a party when the braces came off because we knew we were free!!!!

I was agonizing over how to pay for my daughter's orthodontic work. It needed to be done, but we just did not have the large down payment another doctor demanded. Dr. Bonney's payment plan made things a lot easier for us. Thanks to her, my daughter 's smile is already improved and I am not completely broke!
