Seriously gross. My husband and I are in town house sitting for my sister. We were out and about one day and happened upon this store. It reminded us of what a hoarder's pet shop might look like. Crap is jam packed all over the shelves in no apparent order (And has been there for who knows how long). It is difficult to walk around and the store smells so badly - I can't even describe it. Before we left, they gave us their card. Fast forward to a few days later. I am at my sister's house (who had been a fish tank owner for many years). I notice something wrong, call her (she is out of the country so said call is not cheap). She tells me to call around and get some Fish Flex. I call around to local animal feed stores and nobody has it. I remember visiting Pet in the park and as a last resort, call them. The lady on the phone then begins to interrogate me as to the species and disease of the fish, as if I have any idea. I tell her these are my sister's fish a f I need to call and ask (should have mentioned it was going to cost me). I asked if she could just tell me what she has there, but she refuses to do so. I think my sister, who has had fish for 20+ years knows what she needs. Why is this lady questioning the customer? I am no fish expert but I'm not an idiot. I should have just gone with my first instinct and stayed away from this hole in the wall. I hung up. I will just order it online.

This is the worst pet store I have ever been to. The owner even indicated she didn't care if she was in business a year from now. Customer service is a complete joke. The store is dangerously overcrowded and smells.

This is a wonderful family owned pet store I've gone too for years. They remember who you are and are knowledgable about a large variety of pet needs. I recommend this store to anyone in and around the butler area!

Pets In The Park has a lot of what you need for your pets. They have a small but decent selection of certian things. It's hard to shop around with all the clutter though. I was looking for a sweater for my dog, and had to dig through a huge box that was stuffed into a corner. There is little to no organization. Prices are a little high. And if you're handicapped... you can't get through the isles. However, it's the only pet store in town.

Pets In The Park has a nice array of aquariums, fish and aquarium supplies. They also have dog, cat and bird supplies. The store is very small with a large amount of items. I was asked if I needed any help by one of the staff. The prices are about what you would expect to find at a small pet store.

Unfortunately they really dont have a huge selection. And if you're in the market for a pet dog or cat, go to the local shelter instead. They seem to have gotten away from selling cats and dogs. They now only sell fish and rodent type animals. They do have some supplies, but not a lot. Plus, the place is pretty crowded with items. It is kind of cluttered and not very organized. It is not my number one place for pet supplies by no means. But if you're in the area it's worth a stop. Conveniently located in the Moraine Plaza.

PROS:
CONS: Selection is limited.
