Bernies Auto Repair may seem like a little hole in the wall, but the work he does there is top notch and you almost never have to wait for an appointment. His specialty is troubleshooting those "mystery problems", and just about everything else. This guy knows cars: foreign, domestic, trucks, and vans. He does it all. Especially reccommended for those rare drivers (in PGH) of Volvos and VWs.
