Natural Goodness is very close to my apartment so I frequently visit here. They have perodic sales, so some of hte slightly overpriced organic and natural food brands can be purchased for great buys. The husband and wife who own the store are quite helpful if you are seeking supplements and the little cafe inside is delightful and has numerous delicious dishes prepared daily. I especially love going here in the winter for hot soups on a cold day. They always have at least two soups, and many vegeterian dishes.

PROS: Delicious hot food, vegan and vegetarian choices
CONS:

I've periodically stopped into Natural Goodness for the past few years. They have your usual selection of items in a health food store, plus coffee beans and a little cafe. I tend to stay away from their natural produce as I think it tends to look on the wilted side, and I've never eaten at their cafe. Nevertheless, I find that their stock of other product is quick good--a decent selection with prices that aren't too astronomical, the way they can be at a health food store. They have your food items, various types of organic chocolate (yum!), and good selection of health and beauty products. I imagine that Whole Foods and Trader Joe's have offered some competition for this local store, but I still shop here since it's convenient and I like supporting small businesses. Plus, the coffee they sell is very good.
