I like the food at Jannie's a lot. I've had the sushi and the chinese food and I've also eaten in and had the food delivered and it's been great every time. The only drawback is the inconsistency of the service which varies greatly from time to time.

I came to JANNIE restaurant this evening which locate on 118 easton rd, warrington, PA 18976. The restaurant seems good, beautiful decoration, good enironment, a lot of US customers. I went through the menu, but could not find any "real" chinese food. When I asked the waiter, the manager came, he told me that they can cook the pure chinese dishes that not available on the menu. So I appointed "beef fillet fry with black peper", a very popular dish in Chinese, and should also be known in US. They asked me for $16.95, that is alright. But when the dishes came, it is not beef fillet but beef steak. Very small amount, the manager told me that is beef fillet. I was really angry about that, asked him "do you know what is beef steak, and what is beef fillet"? The manager answered, "anyway, it is beef, you ate, so you get to pay it". I payed it. But I will never come to this restaurant, and I will ask you too, never come to this cheating restaurant. This restaurant can only cheat those who don't know what is real chinese food. The service is so bad! It is the worst I've ever seen.

Jannie's was a favorite of mine and my father's when I was too afraid to try sushi but still liked chinese food. It gave us the best of both worlds, and service was great. The atmosphere of the restaurant is great for either a family meal or a classy date.

I have been going to Jannie for well over 5 years now, they also have another location in the Northeast on Castor Avenue which is around where I used to live. Their food is by far the best & I love Chinese & Japanese food.
Their sushi is top-quality, I happen to lovethe sake make-the salmon roll & it's only $4 for 6 rolls, you can't beat it! Also, the atmosphere is beautiful and it's a clean restaurant. Love this place!

I have found the service to be excellent overall. I find the food to be inconsistant between very good and average. The sushi rolls have a little too much rice. I enjoy take out from this restaurant and the delivery is always great service. I am a vegetarian... so I get vegetable rolls for myself. I really would like to see less rice incorporated into the rolls.
Pros: Great Service, Good Value, Friendly Staff

I've been here a few times and loved it each time. I get a feeling like I'm in a downtown NYC chinese restaurant circa 1950, with the tall red leather booths and giant tapestry chairs. Sushi here is better than others in the area, and there are always so many specials to try. The waitstaff is attentive, the dining room large (short wait!), the menu extensive. They pay careful attention to details in presentation and it shows. Beautiful and tasty!
Pros: beautiful dining area, fast service, great selection
