If you are not too familiar with Lancaster, this place is not the easiest place to find but the locals know it well. It is worth the effort to locate. Their food is top notch and the people extremely friendly and welcoming..

Character's Pub is a tiny, hard-to-find place that is a great hang-out, whether you're inside or out. The lighting and atmosphere are good and their sandwiches and salads combine tasty ingredients in a unique way. And if you order a glass of wine, get ready for a nice size glass plus a "side car" of a little extra besides. Nice touch!

Character's Pub is the perfect place to grab a bite to eat in the summer! There is a great little porch outside, or a huge bar inside if that is what you prefer. They have a great selection of appetizers, sandwiches, and salads, and they serve their glasses of wine with a little extra carafe, so you really get what you pay for!

Beware, this place is always crowded and parking is a little hard to come by!

Well it is a great Irish pub...good beers and even better food. The perfect dinner combo has to be the stuffed portebella mushroom appetizer, the crabcake sandwich and a good local beer. Victory, Amish Milk Stout is a good choose. That's Lancaster Brewing CO. beer. Enjoy!
