Living in Oakland, this seemed to be where everyone purchased their flower arrangements. After shopping at other florists, I can definitely say that they are overpriced. I've never purchased other things there like plants or stuffed animals (way overpriced!) Either they were understaffed or didn't care about customer service, because I waited nearly 20 minutes before someone helped me design a 'welcome baby' type flower arrangement.

I've gotten good deals here on plants and flowers, but I've also gotten screwed.

I would recommend going on the weekends and seeing what they have (if you're just in the market for anything).

Don't go here on valentine's day, as you'll end up paying $100 for a dozen long stem roses, like a friend of mine did last year. Generally a convenient place to get flowers and potting materials.
