Dr Samonte is about 5 ft tall with heals on. And as thorough as a white haired old family doctor from the sticks who is about 100 years old and been a practicing medicine for even longer.

But she is not. She is a realist and thorough. She gives you the naughty look when you use home remedies on the kids but if it works she is very receptive. She doesnt over medicate the children. But she is a stickler for completeing your treatments, follow up visits after illness. And she always always remembers my children and whats going on in thier lives outside of medical issues.
I swear my 10 year old has a crush on her. He asked if he can have a male dr now its time any way.

There are few things more nerve wrecking than trying to find a doctor for your children. However, Geisinger has my vote. The doctors and nursing staff have been friendly, accessible, open and most importantly respectful. They listen even though they might not always agree with some of the health choices I make.
