I know we all have different experiences with every business, but I have to say between myself and my mom we've bought beds, matresses, TV stand, console, and beautiful sofa from Darro, oh and chair. Oh yea, and a desk and chair. Very nice. The only thing that bugs me is they advertise big sales and when you go in it may say like $450 marked down from $465. I'm like, thats the big sale? BUT, they DO negotiate prices so don't settle for wha'ts on the tag. Oh yea, we also had a curio cabinet from them. Our whole house I think is Darro. I like them myself. I really do.

I'm with you Bill P. It's amazing how slimy people who appear so nice can be. When I told them of my finding, they gave me $25 cheaper....how sweet. Just wanted to support a family business. They told me they'd hold it for me....only to sell it to a poor sap who probably paid double the true value of it.

My experience at Darro was awful as a manager told me they'd hold a piece of furniture for me (I offered to give information over the phone), and when I arrived a few hours later it was sold....the day before, apparently. I dont believe

Darro Furniture is awful!!! My husband and I just bought a house and hadn't moved in. We thought by the time the Furniture was in, we would be ready to move into the house. We picked out the furniture with the sales associate and went to check out. Another associate helped us with check out and informed us the fabric of two pieces we wanted were discontinued. Fine, undertstandable. We picked out different pieces and put the deposit down. We were told it should take about 6 weeks but it might take little longer. The next day we received a call asking us to return to the store because again, the other fabric we picked out was discontinued. Again, fine, we picked out different fabric. We never heard from Darros until we contacted them 16 weeks later when we were moving into the house. Every piece was in except one. My husband went to pick up what they had in and he noticed chaise we order was ordered incorrectly and the arm was put on the wrong side. He took home the couch (which was the floor model so they never even had to order it) and the chair but still missing the chaise and the ottoman which apparently was back ordered and we were never told. I contacted them the other day asking the status of the chaise and ottoman as it has been now 24 weeks since we first placed the order. The chaise was in but not the ottoman. I asked to speak with a manager as I was told in the previous call I would have to speak with them regarding a refund for the ottoman. The guy on the phone advised me he was a manager. I wanted to explain to him my frustration (but I was nice because mean never gets you anywhere) and he never even let me speak. I started off that is has been 6 months to get this ottoman and he rudely stated that if I want my money back he would credit it back to me and that it wasn't their fault. I told him I know it is not their fault but I was never told this ottoman was back ordered until we called 16 weeks after we placed this order. He again was very rude sticking up for the company (which I wasn't even expressing how bad their company was). I finally ended up letting them know I don't want the ottoman and I will be picking up the chaise. I CANNOT WAIT UNTIL I AM DONE WITH THEM

Darro was a pleasure to do business with, we bought our Ashley living room furniture there and we could not be more happy with them. Our sales person knew the product well and their price was lower then the other stores we looked at. Also the delivery men were polite and helpful.

If you're tired of pushy salespeople at the large chains who work on commission and want truly friendly servcie (and not someone just trying to make a sale), then Darro's is the place for you. we have bought mattresses, beds and some other furniture from darro's and have always been happy with the quality of the product and the amount of time it took for our orders to arrive. Their delivery service is also reasonable and you don't have the hassle of dealing with outside delivery companies that furniture sellers often pass you off on. They also have a wide selection. And if you can't find what you're looking for at their main store, they also have an outlet right up the street with even better prices.
