Actually Dr. Koziupa should retire before she injures another client by not adequately following their medication and increasing it when necessary. This lead to the patient attempting suicide and to ineffective ECT treatments and no follow up after ECT treatment by the doctor who administered them, he left the organization. have heard others speak poorly of this psychiatrist personally. Check out other review sites to see what others are saying. example, Dr. Score com

After January 11th the new scheduling system will apply and we have received letters stating that they will cancel any appointments scheduled beyond your next one. Their explanation is to provide better customer service and more scheduling flexibility. Do they they think that limiting access to someone's therapist is beneficial, I think not, and could actually put their clients in crisis. Another bogus explanation is that clients cancel appointments and are a no show. This can be handled on a one to one basis with the offending client instead of implementing an across the board unwise, irresponsible policy. This is the third in two years. They say that they want feedback, but after paying a consultant to come in and present this to them it is unlikely that they will discontinue this any time soon if ever. My suggestion is to find another mental health organization to meet your needs. It is also an organization that doesn't think twice about issuing 302 (involuntary commitment) without consultation with your family.

Dr. Koziupa has been my psychiatrist for many years. She has seen me through many medication changes and is always caring, helpful, and a wonderful listener. I have two autoimmune diseases and she has always treated the whole person, keeping in mind all the difficult life situations that have come my way. I would never want to have someone else.

Pros: respectful, caring

Cons: none

My insurance company sent me here when I needed help getting over some stupid things I'd done. First, they put me with a woman - which is something I struggle with. Then the woman told me she wanted me to bring in the person I'd hurt so I could appologize. Hmm...WHY didi it need to be done in her presence. Was she looking for a Jerry Springer show? I wisend up and got a real councelor through my church.
