Great Restaurant

by Michelle H.

Trieste is a family favorite whether we dine in or take out. My kids love Friday Nights as they have free face painting. It is a lovely atmosphere with a wonderful wait staff. The food is always hot and served in a timely manner.

Trieste

by Jamie G. | insider Insider | Rank: 16,528

Trieste is a small, homey restaurant with very nice wait staff and quick service. Their menu has a variety of items with good prices (usually costs about $25 for 2 adult dinners). Parking is tight on the side the restaurant is on but directly across the street is a large lot owned by Trieste to park in. Friendly environment. Don't rush you in and out like other places do. You can eat in or take out from this restaurant. It is worth a try if you have never been here before. A very nice evening out!

Italian flavor

by Sandy L. | insider_guru Insider Guru | Rank: 524

The Trieste Restaurant is an old family favorite of ours. We used to go here at least twice a month. They have good food at a great price and the portions are phenomenal.

What a great place in Delco.

by tatoogirl74

I have coming to Trieste now for 25 years.

This place is very family friendly.

The service is the BEST from the moment you walk in. Everyone is friendly and all the servers help you out.

The menu hasn't changed much over the last couple of years, but that is what makes it Trieste.

I could go on and on about the food, but I will give you some highlights.

Start with the escarole soup. (They also have spicy red crab.)

I love the stuffed mushroom appetizer (and the shrimp lejon are a close second.)

As to the main selection, I would suggest the filet minon or the veal parm. (They are both my favorite.)

Desserts, there are many, my favorite would be the peanut butter pie or the lemon truffles.

There is nothing that I can say bad about this place.

Reasonable prices and great atmosphere.

Pros: Great service & staff, Inexpensive, Very warm & friendly.

Cons: , Small bathroom.

TRY THE LASAGNA

by meganniser

All I can say is WOW!! The lasagna is to die for. It's just like my friend's Italian grandmom used to make. The atmosphere is causal but can quiet and can be a great atmosphere for an intimate dinner for two or a great place to take the kids (I take my 3 year old nephew monthly). The selections are vast and all of the dishes are homemade at this family owned establishment. Although I usually get the Lasagna, everything is "molto buone". A MUST try if you like Italian cusine at VERY reasonable prices.
