Have you ever come home after a long day at work and circled the parking lot at Park Towne Place endlessly, looking for a legal spot?

There is much written about the parking problem at Park Towne Place but nothing being done. As fellow members of our apartment community, you may be interested in signing a petition to become part of a group demanding that Aimco and the other Park Towne Place management stakeholders do the following:

1. Reevaluate the parking policies at the complex to understand how to accommodate more spots/cars

2. Understand the legal ramifications the management can face for overselling parking spaces, which has resulted in towing fees and parking tickets for numerous residents

If you are interested in joining the petition, please contact Parkingreformptp@gmail.com

I am writting this review for two reasons.
1) So you don't have to spend a year living in a complete dump
2) So Park Towne Place (PTP) does not get the opportunity to rob any more unsuspecting victims.

My first complaint deals with the cost of living here.
My rent is $1600 for a two bedroom apartment. My layout includes: 2 bdrms, 1 full bath, 1 living room, and 1 small (but full) kitchen. All utilities are included in the rent, except for electricity.
There is a washer and dryer on each floor which cost $1.75/load each.
All this combined means that I pay $1600 + $125 + $50 divided by two = $900ish a month to live here.

So you might think that's a lot, but you probably get really good service and great ammenities....WRONG.
The washer, dryer, oven, microwave, refridgerator, and even toilet are all half-broken. When I went on the initial tour of the building with a leasing advisor they take you through this brand new apartment just to fool you. If you do infact move in, prepare to be hideously disapointed.

They also tout their gym, swimming pool, and parking garage to be great additions. Don't be fooled - the gym is not ventillated AT ALL - its smells TERRIBLE. And the pool? Well, its nice if you have the extra $100 a month to take advantage of it. The parking garage currently has a 6 month waiting list and costs $175 a month to use - in other words - HIGHWAY ROBBERY.

On a final note, there is a HUGE rodent/cockroach problem. In the three months I've lived here I have caught three mice and killed dozens of bugs.

PROS: Nice location...and umm...nothing else?
CONS: Price, Management/Worker Curteousy (they are SOO rude), Broken Stuff, MICE!
