The man that owns the store is very dishonest and very rude. My daughter had a major growth spurt. When I walked into the store and explained to the man that her shoe was hurting her, he measured my daughter's foot to be a size 13 and made

I agree with these reviews...AWFUL customer service from the man who manages/owns (?) the place. The biggest reason not to go (in addition to the irrational behavior from the guy) is the horrible return policy which says no returns

A week ago i bought sneakers and 'snow boots' for my 5 year old daughter. The boots did not look to me like they would be totally waterproof but the man in the shop insisted that they were. Several times during the fitting i asked again

I will never spend another dollar at this store!!!!! Terrible service, expensive, it is never open, and the salesman always has a rude and umpleasant attitude. I highly dont recommend it.

After years of buying shoes for my 4-year old daughter and spending a considerable sum over this period, I went in to exchange a pair of shoes that were too small and the wrong color. I had bought these shoes with another pair that were much larger and brought both shoes back to show that the smaller pair was a mistake not only in color but size. I had assumed that the wrong shoe had been placed in my bag. When you compared the two shoes, the pair I wanted to return was a full inch shorter. I pointed out that he hadn't even stocked that shoe until May and that he was still selling it so he knew that the shoe was recently bought. When I brought them in, he said "We didn't sneak them into your bag!". I was stunned. We had been in the store the day before buying two pairs of shoes and socks for over $150 and my daughter was wearing a pair of sneakers that we bought in his store in March. I reminded him of this, that he knew that her foot hadn't grown since March, that she still fit into the pair of shoes bought in May and he replied, "I will look though the May receipts and that will tell us what is what." After waiting 20 minutes, he came out from the back waving a receipt pile banded by a rubber band and said that he had looked through each one and couldn't find my sale. Period. I went home and easily found my transaction through my online banking within a few days of when I thought I had bought them. I called him and all he would say is "Store policy is 7 days". I had buying shoes every couple of months over the last 4 years, usually two at a time, so he knew that I didn't EVER return anything. Even this time, what I had asked for was the right color shoe in her shoe size. This he wouldn't do.

With Sneaky Petes next door you have two quality shoe stores in the same block. There is easy parking in the municipal lot behind the store. There is a convenient alley to get you to the street. Kidz Shooz specializes in duality "dress up" shoes and shoes for school.

My son is now 4 years old and despite spending nearly $1,000 in this store over the period of time, the owner refused to make good on a return as it was outside of their incredibly restrictive 7-day return window. The reason it was beyond the 7-day window was because the owner takes a lunch break from 2 until he feels fit to return, and despite me being there between 3 and 4:30 every day for a week, the store was never open for me to make a return. When I mentioned this to the owner, he said it was my responsibility to call to "make arrangements" so they'd have been there to accept the return,

As if the return policy were not bad enough, the healthy dose of bad attitude that went along with it insures I will *never* spend another dollar in this store.

Pros: Decent selection of boys' shoes; try them on here, buy online.

If they are a childs shoe store they should know better that a 13 month old baby needs good shoes that fit properly when they are new walkers. I was never so upset be treatment from a store before. Their receipt states "7 day return policy" but it does not tell you about store credits only.

Do your child justice and take them to Buster Brown or Stride Rite. They stand behind their products.
