Rose Bank Winery

Our daughter was married recently at Rose Bank.The ceremony was held outdoors, in front of the vineyards, followed by cocktails in the barn, and dinner inside the winery. The folks at Rose Bank could not have been more helpfull, & were very accommodating. The rental fee for both buildings was very reasonable, and we DID NOT have to obtain permits from the township. We were permitted to hire our own caterer, serve beer & hard liquor, and purchase Rose Bank wine at discounted price.In my opinion, Rose Bank wine is very good, and the Cabernet Sauvignon is outstanding.
The grounds of the winery provided the perfect setting for wedding photos, all of which were awesome.My wife and I were very pleased, but we were not alone in our praise of Rose Bank. Many of our guests commented that this was the best wedding they had ever attended. I wll not hesitate to recommend Rose Bank, for both their wine and party facilities.

Honestly the person responsible for writing the nasty review has no clue!!! I had my wedding there in 2005 and it couldn't have been more spectacular. We even had custom labels made for our reception. Arrangements to relocate the retail sales during that time had to be made to accommodate our reception which was held in the winery. The sights around the winery made excellent locations for photos to be taken. The staff at the winery could not be any more pleasant and friendly to work with. I personally do not know much about wines, but I do know if I wanted a tour or had questions about wine and how it's made, I'd have no problem asking the staff that works there. They also have FREE wine tasting. How can you pass up the taste of wine when it is FREE? I highly recommend the Blueberry and Cranbury wine. They make the best Frappe Vino's.

Rose Bank Winery is a rustic and unpretentious winery that is true to the spirit and charm of Bucks County. While the term "unpretentious winery" can be viewed as an oxymoron, the staff at Rose Bank goes out of their way to make visitors feel comfortable and welcome. As a small business owner, I'm sensitive about negative comments aimed at other fine, hardworking small businesses. I found the one reviewer's comment about "...one is restricted to serving only wines of the Rose Bank label at events hosted at the winery..." to be especially interesting, in that I imagine this individual sees no problem with eating Taco Bell burritos inside of a McDonald's. In any event, it is not unreasonable for Rose Bank to not want this person to bring in his/her keg of Manischewitz concord grape, as branding is important to any business, large or small. Don't pay attention to anonymous reviews that are winey and are nothing but sour grapes; rather, just allow the free Rose Bank Wine samples to tell the success story of a rustic and unpretentious Bucks County enterprise.

It is pretty obvious that someone took a slanderous means to address a dissatisfaction they had. These types of things can happen in any business. One experience does not a reputation make. Whoever was dissatisfied should have sought another means to "vent" their frustration over what was a unique situation. Businesses make mistakes. I know it does not necessarily help the issue but neither does coming back in this forum and potentially ruin a business' reputation.

Having been to Rose Bank before and other places like it I would categorize it as simple yet classy. The food is fantastic and the wine is far from what Mr or Mrs Attitude had indicated here.

I'm with you. I've had the pleasure of being at the Winery on several occasions, Loved everything about it: the atmosphere, product and the staff are the best. My favorite thing is the flappavino's, yummmm!

Hello, I'm very sorry that who ever wrote that discouraging review was unhappy with the facility, service and products of Rose Bank Winery. I don't claim to be an expert on wines; not by any stretch of the imagination. However, I've always enjoyed their wines and other products such as specialty dips and condiments. Furthermore, I attended a wedding there and it was absolutely charming. Finally, the staff has always been very good to me and I find it hard to believe they were anything but helpful.

Give them a try and decide for yourself.

The "wines" on offer are almost uniformly terrible. What's worse is, by contractual agreement, one is restricted to serving only wines of the Rose Bank label at events hosted at the winery.

The contract for renting the facilities also indicates that arrangements may be made to have Rose Bank obtain permits from Newtown Township for tents and canopies. However, after the contract was signed, the proprietor of the winery contradicted the terms of the contract by stating that permits aren't needed because they no longer allow tents or canopies! When this obvious contradiction of terms was brought to his attention, he couldn't have been more unhelpful, and he made no attempt at offering an explanation for this sudden, and gross, breach of contract.

Visually, there is very noticeable fire damage on the inside and outside of the facility from a blaze that occurred over 2-years ago. Rose Bank Winery should not make its facilities available to the public for rental until urgently needed, and long overdue, renovations are completed.

Don't make the same mistake I did, avoid the Rose Bank Winery, or you will certainly regret it! The very large deposit is non-refundable!

This winery lacks the activities of other vineyards in the area, but is still a cute stopping point on the Pennsylvania wine trail. We love the blush wine and also their special cranberry wine for Thanksgiving. Free samples and snacks galore and gifts for the epicurian in your family. No frills, nothing fancy, just great-tasting wine at reasonable prices.
