Get here early because everyone in Pittsburgh knows these burgers are worth waiting for, and wait they will. A fantastic restaurant that makes you realize that a plain old hamburger CAN be a gourmet experience. The salads and side dishes are nothing to sneeze at, either, with generous portions and the freshest ingredients. A small bar area makes this the perfect place to frequent for games as well. This place is the best place to grab a quick bite to eat. The food is absolutely wonderful. The burgers are the best i have ever eaten. They are soo freakin juicy. The bluecheese one is great! also try the steak sandwich. YUMM

If you want a juicy - non premade burger you are in for a treat. They grill it over hickory woods in their TINY kitchen. Boy it melts in your mouth. The burger comes with a choice of cole slaw, potato salad, or chips. You can substitute a salad for a small charge. There is no deep fryer in the restaurant so no fried foods. They also have wonderful sea food specials however they are a little more pricey. Everything I have ever had at Tessaro's has been wonderful. There is often a wait on a Friday or Saturday night so be prepared.
