i have been a student here for over 7 years and i have been nothing but happy with this martial arts studio. i just recently received my jr. black belt when i was 10 and after i received my black belt i really though about what it had done for me and it really made me more confident, outgoing, disciplined and respectful. i would highly recommend this to anyone out there because this is the best martial arts and kickboxing studio around here. i love this place and always will. :)

They offer training in Korean martial arts (tae kwon do & hapkido) as well as the Filipino martial art of kali. And, they don't limit you to a single style - you're free to try as many (or as few) as you want. All classes are taught by black belts/certified instructors, not by senior students. Instructors are not only proficient martial artists, but are also good teachers. And everyone, from students through senior instructors, is friendly and approachable. All in all, it's a great place to train, with a great bunch of people.

Voted "Best in Chester County 2008" !!! Black Belt Academy is a superior martial arts school offering Tae Kwon Do , Hapkido, and Kali as well as Cardio Kickboxing! The black belt instruction is exceptional. The instructors are knowledgable, encouraging and motivating. It is a place where everyone ( master instructors included) leave their egos at the door, it is a place for everyone! The kickboxing classes are a great to get/stay in shape from beginners to advanced all are welcome and challenged. I have been a part of both the martial arts as well as kickbox programs for over 5 years and feel I am part of something truly incredible!

I would recommend BBA to anyone and everyone looking for a warm, friendly, and welcoming place to get into shape with any one of their phenomenal classes from Tae Kwon Do to Kickboxing! The staff is incredible, encouraging, and so dedicated to making each class rewarding for their members. It makes no difference whether you're a beginner or advanced...head to a class today and you won't be disappointed!

Black Belt Academy is a great place to kickbox! Whether you're a beginner or an expert, it's a lot of fun and a great workout. The atmosphere is very positive with no judgement. I would highly recommend checking this place out!!

I took Tae Kwon Do classes here for many years before beginning cardio kickbox classes as a way to stay in shape on breaks from school. As is obvious from the number of students who have taken classes at the gym for years and would never consider going anywhere else, people find the classes and instructors rewarding and enjoyable enough to keep coming back year after year. Although their kickbox classes cater to students of all skill levels, the enthusiasm of the instructors always pushes me to put everything I have into my workout, and I always leave BBA feeling accomplished and invigorated.

Martial arts schools in Chester County have come & gone, but the BBA has now been in business for over 25 years! Under the direction of master instructors and a state of the art facility, my own daughter developed the mental discipline, character, physical strength and stamina to guide her path through adolescent, preteen and the peer-driven teen years. The students here earn their belts and are given the confidence, discipline and skills to achieve success - and yet still maintain a nurturing environment. A great place for your child to grow up and feel the power of achieving. But don't take this review as gospel - stop by the dojang yourself, take a class, or whip your tired body into shape with a cardio-kickbox class & compare it to other facilities - THERE IS NO COMPARISON!!!! There is a warm and welcoming feeling - yes, even in a martial arts environment where EVERY student is valued. Additionally, fees are fair and the instructors truly care about their students lives. We found that many families become friends with each other through the experience. I've often said to my husband that I've never joined a facility that enrolls so many nice people! Our daughter is a successful college junior now and attributes at least part of her success to the skills she learned over her 10 years with BBA!

I grew up at the Black Belt Academy, and I consider it to be my second family. The black belt instructors are trained with much experience and care about their students. If your looking for a great workout, whether its Tae Kwon Do or Kick-box, the instructors will whip you into shape! This is the greatest gym in the area, and if your looking for a great workout and an experience to carry with you throughout your life, join today!

I've been training at the Black Belt Academy for fifteen years, and it has been the most rewarding experience of my life. You won't find any martial art school in the area better than this one - the instruction is top notch and I am continually impressed by the dedication and personal growth of both the students and instructors. I would recommend this martial arts school to anyone.. you won't be disappointed!

I've been training at the Black Belt Academy for a long time and have had the opportunity to visit many other Martial Arts schools in the area. The Black Belt Academy has the largest staff of experienced Black Belts I have ever seen. Student development is Number #1 at BBA. The quality of instruction is unsurpassed and the training facilities are the largest in the area. The school has been voted Best in Chester County many times and for good reason. BBA is the best Martial Arts school in the area.
