I had lunch this Saturday at the diner and was very impressed. Our waitress Jen S. (I guess they have more then one Jenn) was wonderful. She was very busy with many tables but was able to give us and her other customers the best service. She made eating at the diner a fun experience. The food was VERY good and large portions. Also, the prices were inexpensive. We had the salad bar with our meal and there was so much to choose from. I will be returning and telling my friends. Keep up the good work and great staff!!!

Let the buyer beware on 1/2 price Wednesdays. 50% off your bill is advertised. What they DON'T tell you is that they jack up the prices, THEN give you 50% off. Unethical, huh. We found this out when my wife and I were given menus by our server. The menus looked identical and had exactly the same contents--but for prices. All the prices on my menu were $2 higher. Hers came with an insert for Tuesday specials, mine for Wednesday specials. The server fessed up--admitted that what Club House was doing was unacceptable and added there was nothing she could do about it. We're never going back there again.

The other night my boyfriend & I decided to get a late night meal. We decided to go to The Club House Diner because we've been there multiple times and liked it. When we were seated our waitress gave us the menu without introducing herself and walked away. She didn't even bother to take our drink order. 10 minutes later she returned and took our meal order. I asked her what kind of pies they had. She told me "she didn't know" and "I would have to go look myself". At this point I was angry but brushed it off and ordered my food. 15 minutes pass by and we didn't even get our drinks yet. Another 10 minutes pass and still no sign of our waitress and on top of that a man sitting a booth over had begun to vomit all over the table and himself. I completely lost my appetite and wanted to leave. I looked for our waitress and she was no where to be found. I approached the hostess stand and no one was there. At this point I'm so mad my boyfriend & I walk to our car. As we began to pull away our waitress begins to pound on our windshield and tell us she's calling the cops. I immediately get out and ask here where she was and after waiting 40 minutes we didn't even receive our drinks. At this point I didn't even know if she knew we were still there. She tells me we didn't order any drinks and if we don't pay she's reporting our tag number to the police. So we go inside to pay the $7.00 bill that we owed. At this point the manager says that's policy. POLICY? I can understand the whole "dine & dash" situation but WE DIDN'T EVEN DRINK OR EAT ANYTHING! I was very calm while I was inside but the wait staff surrounding her were saying snide remarks under their breath. She did nothing about this. I was visibly upset and she offered no apology. Neither did the waitress for treating us like criminals. This place is an absolute nightmare and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

My boyfriend, his sister and I always go to Club House Diner, but will never be eating there again after our experience two nights ago. We came in and ordered a soup and appetizer. Both items were finished and left to sit on our table while we waited an additional 10 minutes for the food to arrive. Mind you, we were not asked if we needed more to drink or apologized to for the wait. Immediately when I got my food, the pickle on my plate was slimy and missing the seeds. It appeared that someone had already eaten the pickle by running his or her teeth down the spear. When I approached Donna the manager about the situation, she brushed it off as though I was an idiot and was not helpful at all. The pork roll/cheese sandwich and the grilled cheese were burnt and gross. Also, once we finally got a hold of our waitress to ask for drinks, I asked for tea and she explained that I had hot water as though I should reuse the old tea bag from the beginning of the meal. Since my boyfriend and I had an appointment, we were unable to sit past the hour and fifteen minutes we had already waited so when we were leaving, we decided to ask to briefly speak to a manager. Again, Donna came out to attend to the problem and explained, "Well there's nothing I can do about it now. Who waits until the end of the meal to make a complaint?" instead of just apologizing. I wasn't looking for money off of my meal but an apology would have been appreciated. Horrible management skills! I will make sure everyone I know in the area will no longer dine at Club House. I'm glad I know that this restaurant will no longer waste anymore of my time or money.

I have eaten here many many times in the years past and have had great dinners. when i lived around the block from it. An excellent place to eat ( the menu is big but not too big). Nice desserts too. Call me crazy but the Bran muffins they make are the best and have no equal. they will however will make you go potty...big time. They have Megatouch too and a very goood salad bar which usually comes with a meal or soup is also given as option.

I am the friend who had an early dinner with the above reviewer. I eat often at the Clubhouse and have recommended it on many occasions to others. I also work in a professional atmosphere. I have never, ever seen a situation handled in such a poor manner. Donna, the manager, was extremely abrasive with a dictatorial, scolding attitude, not to mention that this was not done in a quiet manner. My friend was humiliated and embarrassed because the entire scenario was witnessed by other customers. In my opinion, a situation that was simply a misunderstanding could and should have been handled very quietly and easily simply by using a bit of class and dignity on the part of the manager. Needless to say, that was my last visit to the Clubhouse which disappoints me because I like every other aspect of this diner.

My friend and I went to the Clubhouse for an early dinner today. After eating, I ordered a to-go-meal for my husband. The waitress went in the back and placed my order and came out and gave me a small Styrofoam box in which to put my husband's salad. While I was up at the salad bar, the manager, Donna, came hurrying over, arms flailing, in a loud voice repeating "Miss, Miss, You Can't Do That". I looked around and saw all eyes on me. I felt like a thief! I asked Donna what I was doing wrong and she said I couldn't take a "salad to go". I told her I had ordered a meal to go which included a salad. She repeatedly said that I couldn't do that, but that she "would let me take it this time". I told her she had embarrassed me, and she said "Nobody's paying attention", belittling my feelings. She then asked me who my waitress was, whom I pointed out. She then took the waitress in the back room and reprimanded her for giving me the salad box. After the waitress came back apologizing, she asked if I wanted the dessert that came with my meal. I told her I wanted it to go. She told me I had to eat it there - that I couldn't take it to go! What nonsense!! I felt totally humiliated by Donna's unprofessional behavior, since I wasn't doing anything at all wrong. After all that, I told the waitress that I didn't want the meal to go because of this incident. Donna was totally out of line and offered an half-hearted apology on behalf of the restaurant. What she should have done was sincerely apologize to me for her behavior and offer to let me have the take out platter at no cost, for my embarrassment. Instead, they took the platter in the kitchen where, I'm sure, they tossed it. I have been a patron of the Clubhouse for many, many years. I have come there over the years with many family members and friends for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special occasions. But because of Donna's unprofessionalism as a "manager", I will definitely not be returning. And I will be sure to pass this bad experience at The Clubhouse Diner along to my family and friends who frequent your diner. The waitress, however, was extremely pleasant and I felt very sorry for her.

I think that this resturaunt is very well managed, and their food is about 3 and a half stars. Service can be slow on holidays when the service is much needed but overall it is a good resuraunt.

The Clubhouse Diner has recently been remodeled and it looks wonderful. It has transformed from your average diner into a much more upscale restaurant. The service is friendly and the food is great. I really enjoy their quesadillas, chicken panini sandwich, and their chicken fingers. They have very affordable kids meals that include a drink and dessert for under $2. Definitely check it out if you are in the area.

You'll find the biggest crowds here after midnight. Club House is a popular place for people to stop for a nightcap or a bit to eat as a way for people to finish their evenings. Service is quick and prices are pretty reasonable. It's also busy Sunday mornings for the brunch rush, but it's worth the wait. Great desserts, also.
