Good First Experience
by Joanne F.
Had a very good experience 6/19/09. Called ahead and talked to John the manager, VERY nice, very accommodating. When I went there it was more of the same. His associate was also very helpful when I inquired about tires while I waited. Their price was a little over $30 less per tire than another quote I received elsewhere that week. They exceeded my expectations and I was very pleased. When I need new tires I will give them my business. BTW I am not a relative!

HORRIBLE workmanship and ethics
by allan q.
I bought a wheel and tire package including bands and sensors from J&T. They gave me shimmy issues since day one which they tried to fix to no avail. I was told it must be the wheels. They made no offer to return the wheels for new ones.. I ordered another set and asked J&T to install and made my appointment. My car sat for 5 hours before I was told that they would not have time for my car. They said the job would take 4-5 hours. I took it to another shop at 2:30 that same day and it was done at 4:00. AND they found all the reasons for my problems and more. They balanced all the wheels incorrectly, ruined the bands(55 dollars a piece) and lost parts to my sensors which were also located in the wrong place). I brought to their attention and they said to provide the documentation which I did only for them to say they would do nothing

Trying to Help
by Timothy B.
I'm sure all the good reviews are freinds of the business, but here is the truth. I had an accident and sent my car to the Direct Repair Collision Center who does work for State Farm Insurance.( a one stop shop) Direct Collision subs out the Mechanical work to J&T Tire. They were supposed to evaluate my car for damage on the left front tire, suspension, and steering. After the inspection, they couldn't find anything wrong accept I needed a new tire. After them having my car for 3 days, they were saying I needed an outer Tire Rod end that was worn, from normal wear and tear, and wanted me to pay for it out of pocket to the tune of $108.56. I argued the damage was from the accident, so they sent an adjuster a second time to analyze the situation and still said it was wear and tear. They released the car to me after paying the $500 deductable. I brought the car to my mechanic and he found no play in the Tire rod. While changing the tire rod end, because it wasn't due to the accident, I noticed the stem on the tire rod was bent from the impact, which directly impacted the Rack and Pinion steering, and the A-arm was bent down making the Pillar almost hit the Strut and knocking the tire out of camber. I noticed all of this in 10 minutes and J&T (proffessionals) took 3 days and didn't find anything. They did all of this, and sent me packing with an unsafe vehicle.OH, did I mention they put the tire on with the incorrect rotation. Please save yourself allot of aggravation, never trust J&T with your vehicle.

If you are tired of being gouged on repair bills or getting talked into repairs your car doesn't really need, this is the place for you. We've been going to this shop for over 20 years and we've been highly satisfied with all the work that has needed done to our cars over the years. They go above and beyond, and have always been polite. When shopping around for a used car, we always bring the car we're interested in over to J & T to get an honest opinion of the state of the vehicle.
