My name is Gabriella, and on December 30, 2009, my parents and I purchases a Kia Rio. The reason why I chose a Kia was because of the manufacturer's 10 year warranty. Before purchasing the car, we specifically asked the salesman John Thomas, who is no longer with the company, if the 10 year 100,000 mile manufacturer's warranty would carry over once we purchased the vehicle. He assured us that this was the case. Yesterday, my check engine light came on, and today my mechanic told me that one of the ignition coils is misfiring. He told me to contact Kia since this should be covered under the warranty. To my surprise, when I contacted Kia they informed me that the warranty was only 5 years because I was not the first owner. After speaking to several people at CarSense, a manager named Gregory told my mother that although he believes we were lied to by one of the company's salesman, there is nothing he can do. This is absolutely unacceptable. My family owns a business, and we know first hand that there is always something you can do to make a costumer happy. We have bought three cars from CarSense, spent more than $80,000, recommended this company to anyone who would listen, and I had intended on trading in my Kia in a couple of months and purchasing a fourth car from CarSense. Although Gregory assured me that I would receive "top dollar" for my trade in, I honestly do not believe anything that anyone at CarSense tells me. I am so angry that I was deceived, and no one at CarSense cares enough to try to rectify the situation. I assure you that I will never do business with CarSense again, I will tell everyone I know to never do business with CarSense, and I will write negative reviews of this company on every website that I possibly can.

10/13/12 went to the service department for the second time for a warranty problem. They charged me $195 for something that should have been covered. They won't make a dime off of me ever again. I will take my cars to another shop for now on. If my radio breaks again I will take it to them. That will be my last step, then ill take them to court. The sales department is good, but service are rip offs.

Service department is questionable. Every time I have taken my car for inspection they have tried to up sell me on other services that are not needed. I have called other service departments to price compare and Car Sense is always on the high end. Most of the people in the service department are knowledgeable but there is one women that is completely rude. She has no idea what she is talking about and on top of that brings a very unwelcoming attitude to every conversation. I will not go back for service simply because I do not want to waste one more breath talking to someone so incompetent and rude.

Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place.

Not only did they sell us a car that had mechanical issues that they could not fix, after taking the car back, they put it back up for sale so some other sucker would buy it.

AND to top it all off, after more than three weeks - they still haven't paid off the loan so technically I'm still on the hook to pay it AND they don't have a clear title - so they couldn't sell it anyway.

The vehicle in question can be found here:

I bought a new 2010 Honda Pilot Touring Dec. 2009 at a local Honda dealer. The same car (vin.# matches) is now for sale at Carsense for $400.00 more than I bought it for and it has over 16,000 miles on it . If their no haggle price policy is true, the only person who would buy that car would have to be an uneducated consumer. How can a car dealer with a clear conscious take advantage of such a person? A 2011 Honda Touring with a rear D.V.D. is currently selling for under $38,000.
I suggest that you do a thorough research of a car's value before you buy. I'm not sure this dealer practices what they "preach" I sent an e-mail to them last week with the same information and got no response. I guess the truth is not what they want to hear. Guess what! They lowered the price $5.00 this week. I believe that they have this car marked up with the intent that it will make the other pilots on the for sale at lower prices, look like a steal . They will probably then lower the price later to the correct value. There is a name for this kind of advertising. If you advertise that a car is listed below Kelly blue book value , why not advertise when a car is above Kelly blue book value too? Just a question!

I have purchased two vehicles from Car Sense and both have been excellent vehicles. One of the best things about CarSense is you have 5 days to return the vehicle if, for any reason, you are dissatisfied. I ALWAYS use these 5 days to have the vehicle checked out by my mechanic. The reason I do this is I got burned very badly once buying a used car off a lease. From the outside the car looked beautiful. I learned out later that the car has been in a major accident and had significant frame damage. It was even dangerous to drive. After that I decided never buy another used car, even from a reputable place like CarSense, without having a good mechanic check it out. CarSense, with their 5 day return policy, gives you that flexibility. So if you take advantage of it and do your homework, you should end up with a very nice, safe car at a fair price.

Other nice things about CarSense: Great website to do your initial screening. Nice, clean facilities. Great selection. Generally late model clean cars. Easy access of the Pennsylvania Turnpike.

Buying a Car at CarSense was very simple & the product is excellent. Their service dept though appears focused on adding on additionals on every service visit. To the extent I won't go back for service, I'm tired of the crap.

Through Quaker State they give you an engine warranty which requires you use QS every 4000 miles for your oil change. You do not have to get this done at CarSense. I did and every oil change became............... the oil change from hell. No MO!

I went to purchase a vehicle from Car sense and saw the one I loved. I was there a Friday night and my bank was unavailble to get a deal done. The next morning I call to say I was approved and they said sorry but vehicle was sold to another customer. This is aweful place to do business with. It was from closing of one business day to opening of another. This warranty is not worth the extra 2500.00 either this is how they make there money by pushing some warranty on the consumer.

I had a terrible experience at CarSense. Within three days, the battery on the car I purchased died and they replaced it. The AC on the car didn't work and took them three attempts to fix it. Each time they claimed it was fixed. They also sold me a warranty and I was told that I would be reimbursed when the car exceeded 100,000 miles, which was a lie. They are dishonest, incompetent and uninformed.

My wife and I bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee a year and a half ago and started having problems with it. We dropped it off and a week later they are still not sure what's wrong with it. The problem is no one has called us, we are the only ones making contact. When we bought the car we were suckered into buying the CNA National warranty coverage. They told us a week ago that since we have that warranty they would cover a rental car while they fixed ours. Now they are telling us that they are not sure if it will cover the rental a week later. I have to say I am very very disappointed in Car Sense and the way they conduct business.

I purchased a Lexus SUV last year. I loved that they have every kind of car imaginable on the lot for you to see live and test drive. Saves going to multiple dealerships. The website is awesome and allows you to see what's available. If there is a car at Hatfield you like, they'll bring it down to Exton if you don't want to go up there. They beat the price at the dealerships by thousands. I think that one day each week, certain prices are reduced depending upon how long a car has been on the lot.
Downside - they use aftermarket parts in the service department. For important things that can void the manufacturer's warranty so be careful. I used the service dept. once for small issues wrong with the car immediately after purchase and was so frustrated with the runaround I got that I went to the Lexus dealership and will never return to Car Sense for service. The buying process is a no brainer!!

We bought our van there about a year ago. Although we did all our test driving and maintenance up at their Hatfield location. For some odd reason our van was a grand cheaper for the exact same thing up in Hatfield. So we took the time to drive down.. They were very helpful and accommodating. I liked the fact it was a no haggle price. We did our homework and we got a fair deal. When it came to financing they were able to get us a better deal than any of the other places we looked into. We decided to get their extended warranty. It was a few thousand, but if we never use it we get it back towards our next car purchase. I recommend checking out car sense!

Good selection of used vehicles, prices are fixed-no negotiations

We purchased a vehicle from Car Sense almost 5 years ago and it was one of the best purchases we've made.

The process was quick and simple.
