It's our family tradition to go every year to Varners. The kids love the tractor ride out to the field. We grab our saw, and head through the mass amounts of various trees to find our perfect one. Once you chop it down and carry it back they wrap it and tag it for you. Then you ride back to the main part and they shake it (to get off loose needles) and drill a hole in the bottom. The kids(and mom!) always enjoy free hot chocolate after our adventure. They have a great store to shop in as well.

We love going to Varners every year for our tree. You get to ride a horse drawn wagon to the field and cut your own tree. This past year they did so much business that they had to go buy trees from another seller. The offered the other trees at a discount. I really appreciated this and will keep going back. They also let us drag back greens from the bottoms of trees that people leave out there. So free greens.

We love going to Varner's for our annual horse-drawn hayride to the pumpkin patch to pick our own pumpkins. The fram is beautiful & family owned, something that's become harder & harder to find as agribusiness takes over.

Later on, we go for farm fresh apples & fresh cider. My only complaint is that the apples aren't organic.

They also grow their own Christmas trees, which cuts back on fossil fuels since they're not being shipped.

Varner's is a great family farm, fun for everyone!
