I leased a vehicle from Barbera's last month. The dealer changed the terms of the lease, added an extended warranty and forged my signature. They then submitted the fraudulent lease to Chrysler Capital for financing. They are doing nothing to help me. They car is now sitting parked in my driveway and I'm paying for a rental car as well as being charged my monthly payment. Vice President Art Carita, had the nerve to tell me that its a legal matter being handled by his lawyers so he cannot talk to me about it. DO NOT take a chance with these guys. You will regret it. I now have to hire a lawyer and take days off of work to deal with this.

BTW, I'm sure Barbera will write a kind response saying that they would love to talk to me about this issue. However, the truth is Art Carita, VP, has all my info. So does salesman Marc Buschell. Yet they continue to screw me on this deal. STAY AWAY!!!!!

Gary Barbera use to be a car dealer that negotiated in good faith but they have lost that integrity today.

We have purchased many vehicles from Gary Barbera in the past so when my son and daughter wanted to look for new cars I took them to Gary Barbera's Autoland.

After a test drive my daughter was not set on the car she wanted and wanted to come back another time to test drive other vehicles. My son was ready to negotiate.

After about an hour and a half my son negotiated a price of $24,097 with Dave Hamilton. We tried to get the price lower but Dave said "That was it" and even wrote, underlined, and exclaimed this on the negotiation sheet.

Purchasing a new vehicle is a big decision and my son was not sure if he should buy the car at that price so he decided to leave. When leaving we were told to think about it and to let them know if we change our mind. After a few hours of thinking about it my son decided to accept the offer so we went back to Gary Barbera. When we got there we were told to wait. When Dave finally came over he said the price is now $25,297! That's $1,200 more than the negotiated price. To our surprise Dave said there was no way he could go lower. When ask about the price quote earlier he refused to acknowledge his hand writing on the offer sheet he presented to us. He claimed we were confused. The only thing we were confused about was in trusting the Gary Barbera name as a reputable dealer in the Philadelphia area.

I am not sure if all dodge dealers are negating like this but to me this is far from Good Faith Negotiation. This has definitely swayed me away from Gary Barbera and has left a negative feeling for the Dodge/Chrysler brand.

The Gary Barbera slogan should be "Is Gary Barbera the best? I wasn't impressed!"

I was able to get my oil changed in less than an hour, and I didn't have an appointment. It was my first time ever being there and the staff was courteous

My husband I spent nearly a month researching the right vehicle for us, found what we wanted at Barberas Autoland. We called prior to driving the 150 miles to inquire whether the exact options were in fact installed in the Van. I was very specific, bluetooth connected, sto and go seats, all rows fold down, NAV, DVD, etc.. The internet guy that answers the phone when you inquire is NOT a sales rep, only " answers the phone" , but I was led to believe he was the person we would deal with. NO. So, I asked Chris to please check these above items, TURN on the car, check they are installed and call me back. He called me back with in 3 mins, YES, GOOD NEWS, All seat fold down, BT connected, NAV, etc.. So, we treck the entire 95 corridor from Delaware and get there, meet chris , who promptly hands us to the "real" salesman. Mike C. Mike C is working with several people at the same time, the place is a zoo of ballons, desks, ringing phones, lots of back and forth, hurry up and wait.. We see the van, we test drive it, we check most options, BT, NAV, 3rd row seats, Mike says yes the 2nd row sto and go, no problem. We look over the vehicle inside and out. We and they dont have A DVD to test the playerr for me so we plan to take delivery later in week, so we will bring one and get a demo of ALL installs.. ALL GOOD. One thing, when I asked to please have the mechanic place the VAN up on the lift so we could look under for any obvious rust or damage, they were EXTREMELY RELUCTANT and Mike C went to get the big guns i guess, he came over, blah blah blah, dont need to do that on and on. I insisted and they did comply and all was fine, but they were annoyed like i was wasting their time. 18K, really wasting THEIR time? Anyhow, took 3 more hours to get paperwork done. Took delivery on Monday, GUESS WHAT, 3rd row DO NOT STO and GO oops. Mike went back and forth with service guys, OOOPS. So, we did take delivery of the van, disappointed that one feature we confirmed we really wanted was not installed as we were told. Also, I wanted mats, and there was no owners manual with the VAN, we asked, Mike said he would locate one and "get it to us" So far no manual and it cost 80 bucks to have one shipped from Chrysler. They did put 1/2 tank of gas in it though. Overall, I would say we were a number in the file. Mike was pretty good but also somewhat short when we asked questions, wanted a demo etc. I would reccomnend him for sales, but lots of disconnect from department to department. Too big. to crazy.

Looked around the dealerships in Bucks County for a good deal on a van. went to Barbera's because they advertises heavy about being able to give the best deal. They did! At Barbera's I got the best financing rate and that, along with the best price, made a world of difference. Thanks to John P. and all the staff. I'm finally driving a brand new van and I couldn't be happier.

My wife and I recently purchased a 2012 Jeep Patriot. Our salesman and the entire staff at Gary Barbera were extremely helpful and completely knowledgable about our new vehicle. I would definately recommend them to all of my friends.

Our experience at Barbera's was the worst car-buying experience imaginable. Our negotiations with the salesman were filled with purposeful "misunderstandings." Upon purchase of the car, we discovered it did not have one of the features we understood to be included. Then to top it off, the gas tank was on empty and we had it back in to the Service department the next day as all 4 brake rotors were warped.

I dropped off my family vehical to have the transmission repair. they check it out and said it was one bad wire. Paid almost over 300 bucks to fix it. 50 miles later the ride shut off on its own in the middle of 95. my wife was driving

HORRIBLE! Took my car in for a horn that honked uncontrollably. Four days later came to pick up my car and found 4 missing hub caps - no explanation, no apology, just "you'll have to come back in for us to replace them." Now just that would be a big inconvenience, but on top of it, my horn was still honking! The car was back in for another 6 days for the horn again and to get my hubcaps replaced. Picked it up and the horn was fixed, but 2 days later my front bumper fell off while driving! From the unfortunate series of events at Barbera's I must say I suspect misdoing. However, unlucky me, I am now stuck with the bill for that. Never ever bring your car here or you not only will waste your time, but will also leave with many more problems than you came with.

We bought a Chrysler 300 from Barbera's. Within two months, the car developed brown rust stains on the piece that runs across the car doors on both sides. It is highly visible. I brought it back in and was told by the manager that it is caused by the elements and they could do nothing about it. I took it to a reputable dealer to find out that it was from the glue that they use to put on the pieces. Gary Barbera was not willing to work with me and told me it would cost hundreds to fix. I was absolutely disgusted by the poor customer service and the poor excuse.

In these tough economic times the last thing we need is to be ripped off yet again. We took a car remote to Gary Barbera to be reprogrammed because we have a Chrysler and must go to dealer to have this service done. We went the day before Thanksgiving 11/26/2008, were charged $46.00 for the service and being in a hurry and also being trusting left without trying the remote, only to find out that was a very stupid thing to do because the remote still did not work. My husband took remote back to Gary Barbera's to tell them what was going on only to be told the remote was no good and it would now cost $137.00 for new remote and $43.00 to have it programmed. My husband stormed out and came home and told me what happened, I called and asked to speak to the manager at which point they said they would now charged the $137.00 and work out a deal about the $43.00 to program the new remote. I called around to other dealers and got prices of approx. $137.00 for the remote and programming, which is the same price I was quoted from Gary Barbera's when I called to find out the price of a new remote. Are we stupid?? Yes, lesson learned yet again but customer lost because the car was gonna be traded in for a new car. We of course will now go elswhere. I know $46.00 doesn't seem like much money but it is a full days work for some consumers. Marianne Czyzewski

I am glad the poaster below noted the community initiatives put into place by the Northeast Chryslerland and Jeepland. As a lifelong resident of this wonderful city, I think it is always good to see a successful Philadelphia business supporting the community it is in. Gary Barbera Chryslerland is no exception to this.

I recently learned that Chryslerland contributes a significant amount to the Keystone Charities organization, an organization which helps individuals with developmental and learning disabilities. Keep up the good work!

Just a few months ago, Gary Barbera's Chryslerland opened up on the Boulevard in the Northeast, just between Robbins and Levick. For those who grew up in the area, it seems that area has again been revitalized!

The team aat Gary Barbera Chevyland should be commended for raising the bar with its GO GREEN, SAVE GREEN environmental program that GM is rolling out nationwide.

Keep ut the good work! We look forward to seeing further positive community development to come

They did it again! Congrats for once again leading the entire Mid-Atlantic in Chrysler product sales for all of 2007.

The staff at Gary Barbera Chryslerland continue to do a remarkable job in this tough market. It's clear that the combination of name recognition, value to customers and the high profile to which Gary Barbera elevates the Chrysler vehicles (check out the Challenger on the roof!) is a combination that can't be beat!

this place is filled with nothing but pushy sales people. they will suck you into a deal, make it sound great, and it ends up costing you nothing but a headache in the end. watch out for those pushy sales on vehicles that have no extras and those HIGH interest rates on your loan!

PROS: NONE
CONS: they'll sell you car that isnt worth a penny
