This IS a smaller, older bakery as mentioned by another reviewer, but it still has the heart and soul of a family-run business.

My son loves key lime pie and I wanted to surprise him with one for his birthday one year. To my surprise, I found a fabulous key lime CAKE at this shop. Never seen one anywhere else, and it was a big hit with my son!

Every thing I have ever had from here has been wonderful. My friend had her wedding cake made here and it was delicious. Not the traditional wedding cake, this one was actually tasty. I think that they put their heart and sole into the baking giving it the much loved taste.

I have been very disappointed to see the gradual demise of this bakery over the past 40 years. This bakery was once a very clean, well-stocked, bustling business, with a wonderful assortment of baked goods. It was family-owned and family-run, and it was a very popular bakery business in the Brookline neighborhood. However, it is now very run-down, not very clean, and has very little in the way of baked goods. Most of the cases and shelves are almost empty , even during peak business hours. And the baked good themselves are not very good. If you are looking for bread, doughnuts, rolls, cookies, or other baked items, you probably should look elsewhere. It's a real shame to see a good bakery become only a memory of what it once was.
