What a bunch of con artists! They sold me a leather sofa that was delivered in a graffitti-laden truck. The sofa was fine and dandy, but they also sold me a stain "warranty". I tried to use it and it was worthless. I received no service and they refused to refund the warranty cost. I even talked to the owner of the company Gary Gevurtz and he was shocked that I got his phone number and refused to do anything for me. He's a damn crook!

This is a horrible company . I purchased $5000 of new furniture and all pieces were damaged. They gace me the runaround, and when i decided to cancel after the bed they put together collapsed on me they refused a refund. I had to take them to court and i won, but they lied through their teeth, and attempted to falsify evidence. I also filed a compliant with the BBB. Proceed with caution when dealing with
Somnia furniture.

My wife and I went into Somnia the other day because we had heard very good things about their furniture. Well they were right about the furniture, they certainly do carry some very nice pieces, but the staff are horrible. They are rude and pushy and not of any help whatsoever. We left asap and went elsewhere. Maybe we just had a bad experience but if you go in there beware of the staff!

Staff should always deal with their customers with a smile and want to make their customers happy. Well, at first the Somnia staff are nice and want your business, but after they receive your money, they are nothing but a headache.

I had the worst experience that you could imagine, with this store.

I bought a loveseat and a futon. The futon was in stock and arrived immediatley. THe loveseat had to be ordered.

This is where the problem lied. I the loveseat was supposed to arrive within a month. To make this story short, I started giving them deadlines (at the 8 week mark) telling them I wanted to cancel the order (which they promised me that I would be able to do). Then when I finally told them I wanted it cancelled they refused to cancel the order. I had to call the CC company and dispute the charge. Finally I won the dispute and got my money back. Around that same time (we are talking about 4 months from the purchase date) Somnia said that the couch was finally in and they wanted to deliver it. (I told them that they could just keep it, cause I knew I was getting my moeny back from the CC company.)

I took the money and bought a couch from Raymourn and Flannigan (a big chain). They have 900+ in stock.

I would never buy from Somnia again. As far as I am concerned they are crooks, because they lied and would not let me cancel my order.
