Great Food, Great Service, and Good Prices  4 Star Rating - Very good

I've been to Tom Jones Restaurant and I enjoy it every time. Even though poeple say things about it it still stays packed so someone likes it. I know I do. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. 24/7 365 rain, sleet, hail, or snow storm even when no one else has power after a storm Tom Jones is the only thing in Brookhaven still running now if that isn't great service then I don't know what is

yuck!  1 Star Rating - Unsatisfactory

This place is so bad, unless you are looking for bad food after a night of drinking. They can't even spell words correctly on their sign outside. EX: "Did you here? We have great prices!" If they can't spell, what makes you think they can prepare food and serve you with courtesy? The booths are sticky, the bathrooms are sticky, even the waitresses are sticky.

Don't dine here!  1 Star Rating - Unsatisfactory

I've been to this restaurant a few times and never had any problems, but the food is always bad to mediocre. However i went there today with my wife, 5 year old daughter and 10 month old baby boy, i asked for non-smoking and they seated us at a non-smoking table sandwiched between two smoking tables. I didn't realize until we were about half-way done with our food and both tables started to light up, we could not finish our food because i do not want my kids breathing in 2nd hand smoke. I smoke and i never do it near my children, so there is no reason why they should be surrounded by 5 people smoking at a nearby table. I told the manager and she said "oh well", "that is the way we are set up". It is not only the classless management but also the people that would smoke 3 feet from a baby. Any restaurant that still allows smoking should have a smoking section with partitions, fans, and a ventilation system, not just a sign that states "this is a non-smoking table". I have lived in 3 other states and they all have a smoking ban, but PA is still behind the times, i smoke and i have enough class to take it outside. This restaurant is trash, the food is trash, and the management is trash. I WON'T BE BACK!

food sits like a rock in your stomach  2 Star Rating - Wouldn't recommend

This is a resterant not to far from my home. This is a busy resterant, but the food leaves you feeling like a brick was in your stomach. The atomosphere inside is nice, but it isn't for me. I went there a few times and everytime, i wasn't imporessed with the taste of the food. Something not exactly right there. /fast servuce, but not really recommended.

PROS: fast service
CONS: not recommended. dim lighting

Good food  3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

Tom Jones has good food with a variety to choose from. The service is sometimes a little slow. Sometimes the wait is a little long to be seated. Overall the prices are good.

Overpriced and ordinary food  2 Star Rating - Wouldn't recommend

When I couldn't get a table in the restaurant I wanted on Mothers Day, I opted to go to Tom Jones on the recommendation of a friend. I had heard some good things about it, so I was surprised when the service was slow and the food cold and not very good. There are famiily owned diners closer to home that offer much more in the way of food and atmosphere, and I will be sticking to them from now on.

although always busy, not all that great  3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

I had driven by Tom Jones Family restaurant for almost a year, before I finally decided to give it a try. Every time I drove by, there'd be a line out the door for seating. However, to my disappointment, the vast menu selection and constant flow of business did not correspond to great food and worthwhile costs. TJ's offers several dinner plates, sandwiches, breakfast plates, but all appear to have mediocre taste and portions when compared to other diners in the Delaware County area. They did offer several flavors of homemade ice cream for dessert.
In addition, the restaurant has the bright orange vinyl booths that bring you back to the 70s. The atmosphere is cheery, but poorly ventilated. Prices were reasonable, but I've gotten more for my money elsewhere.
If you're looking for quick service, TJ's isn't the place for it. Staffing seems spread thin during their busy dinner and lunch rushes.

PROS: open 24/7, convenient location
CONS: mediocre service/quality of food
